Since I can't see as much, I kind of don't like it. On the other hand, it's nice to see the players closer up for a better look. In time I'll probably like the new view better.

There's a magnifying glass button on the bottom-left side of the minimap.
Or you could press "=".

Toggle Zoom is right below "Bug Report".
You can also switch using the magnifying glass on the bottom left of your mini-map.
