As of the battle sprites update which is cheaper, buying an item from the depot, and heating it to 10, or Crafting an item from 1* though 5* and then heating to 10?

Make sure to add recipe cost and all the crystals recuired by ALWAYS forging at 100% to avoid failure.

Assuming you find orbs and crystals, you only need to pay recipe costs which is sorta cheaper than having to get everything. 2* - 5*: (1k + 4k + 10k + 25k) = 40,000 crowns. Add (400 + 1000 + 2500 + 5000) which is the crafting cost on alchemisation and you require 48,900 crowns, including orbs found through loot, fire crystals and materials.

At the current rate of CE, you require (48,900 / ~86) about 568 CE. Only.

If you are lazy, decide not to work or grind for stuff, 3,500CE is about 6 times more expensive than what you actually really need. That's not including the costs for fire crystals, though I reckon if you took the effort to heat it in clockworks you're bound to at least find some fire crystals and at least one orb throughout the whole heating process of one item.

No item goes from 1* to 5*. They all start at 2*, some at 3*.

Crafting was always cheaper, even before the BS update.

The only advantage the supply depot has over crafting is how easy and quick it is in comparison. The fire crystals and the forge might have seem to make the Supply Depot a bit more desirable but crafting is still way better, imo. Heating isnt really troublesome till you hit 4*, then it gets annoying.

3 star is annoying, not enough forge stations... I can't heat it in FSC no more

It "burns"...

I run say one-two depths of Royal Jelly Palace or Ironclaw Munitions Factory and have totally 0 issues with it. I get the glowings I need, I get enough heat to level, I move on.

Heating 3* to the max however, is a pain... And considering Tier 2 LD is my domain... Oh boy.

No, assuming I BUY everything, I don't think I will enjoy grinding arcade for 5 hours to find crystal, I want to know the cost if I BUY everything, from orbs, to crystals, to recipes and I craft them at 100 always.

"I don't think I will enjoy grinding arcade for 5 hours to find crystal"

And what do you want the set for? After making it, won't you just grind the arcade aimlessly anyways?
You don't want to play the game but you want the gear?

You'll still have to heat the 5* item from the supply depot and it'll still take you at least 4 hours of those 5 you mentioned.
(wich still isn't much to me, but you get the point)

nah, even if you bought

nah, even if you bought everything from the supply depo (orbs, fire crystals) and recipes, u would still end up spending a little less than what it'd cost you to just buy the weapon from them.

And during the runs that require you to heat your 3* and 4*s you'll probably get fire crystals and orbs to greatly lower that cost.

I'd say that yes, you should actually. Because if you grind all 5* stuff and buy from supply depot, then you'll have a use for your crowns and heat crystals. But if you help newer players or like farming not T3 all day every day then you should just craft.

If ye don't have the time to move forward, buy the time to move forward.

I hate thinking numbers. They make me go mad.
