As far as I'm aware, if someone still has the book, they can still fight Margarel; event or no event.

I would like to fight as well. But...
I would say count me in but I am due to be MIA. And I think you CAN still fight Margarel regardless, as long as you have the book. But I cannot say for sure.

All you need to fight Margrel is the Book. The Konjuring Kat is a long-term resident and doesn't go anywhere, as are all the other Kats in Moorcroft. Also, before you get disappointed; only the book user actually gets the Black Kat Cowl. (It used to be that all four successful party members got the Cowl, but that's been changed.) The other guys just get the tokens from the boss.
The kat event is over. Think i saw it on the announcements, but i'll have to double check.
