Honestly, what you should do is just ask around. There is no harm in doing so. I can't really give you everything but here is the TL;DR version.
Shadow Lairs Happened (Extreme Version of Regular Bosses)
Accessories (Cosmetics, now ruling the market)
New UI/Mission System (Giving ranks, and missions, added a new UI)
Took away elevator costs/Forge (The Forge is basically a new heating system)
Battle Sprites (Essentially little cute support monsters)
That's all I got for you. Big update coming though. Can't wait for it Nick. ;D

FORGET IT!
No more mist energy. If you want energy, ya gotta use crystal. Elevators are free to use now, and revives don't use energy but instead materials called Sparks of Life. There are missions for you to go through, during which you get reward items, recipes, materials, and eventually a pet. To heat gear, you have to run through the clockworks till it reaches the tip of the bar, then use special fire crystals you find in boxes/buy from the supply depot to level the gear up. To craft, you use alchemy orbs instead of energy. They're quite rare (Especially the 2*-4* ones), so you can also buy them from the supply depot for about the same price as crafting used to cost in energy. I'm not sure what exactly was/wasn't around when you started playing, but if you see anything new you want some info on feel free to post in the New Recruits section of the forums.
