As of today 9/18/13 at 3 P.M. Central there's 3 items on sale. Combuster, Firey Atomizer, and Pepperbox.
These 3 items all inflict fire as a status ailment and are of different weapon rank.
I ask this question for admin or player to answer:
Is this a new feature that sells themed weapons at discount prices in a predetermined cycle? Or is this leading into another event?
I believe that the prior makes the most sense, as of this post.
I like this, mainly the "items that aren't normally available" part.. More details shall come when it rotates, I guess.
Though what I want to know is, what exactly is "a short time"? Does it rotate every week? day? hour?
I'm guessing day as its been over an hour...

10% off an item that costs 10$... amazing savings. Try slashing the prices by 50% or more if you want people to buy items directly through the depot.
What are you paying ten dollars for, exactly? I wasn't aware energy packs were sold through the supply depot...
I'm really curious to see what these "normally" unavailable items are now.
In the end, they'll probably hurt some merchants, but I'll be happy to see some new stuff.

honestly, I don't understand why it isn't 50% off:
To upgrade a 2* item to 5* it would take:
50+200+400+800 for all the Orbs, that's 1,450CE (assuming you're buying them)
Including the recipe costs: 1000 + 4000 + 10000 + 25000
and assuming the AVG. Price of CE is (rounding) 8000/100
That's 500CE + 1450CE = 1950CE.
That's still nearly 1500CE cheaper than buying a weapon from the supply depot, if anything, the 5* Weapons should be 2000CE, not 3,150CE.
You're not taking into account Fire Crystals. Fire Crystals SUBSTANTIALLY increased the cost of loot. That said, Eternal Orbs are essentially free, and 5* Fire Crystals can be farmed quickly.
Okay, let's say that you're buying Fire Crystals too, okay.
That's currently 1950CE for everything not including the Fire Crystals, now let's say you're buying Fire Crystals:
3* = 33 Crystals being 175CE
4* = 309 Crystals being 2450CE
That's 4575CE to craft a 5* Item by just buying things through Kozma, hence it is cheaper to buy it already 5* instead of buying all the materials from Kozma.
Fire crystals are honestly overpriced though. You can get 800-1200 CE worth of fire crystals in one run of FSC. LOL

I'm posting here because I don't want to start another thread, but I'm wondering if somebody is recording what items are on sale with each "items on sale change". I'm just wondering what's the key.
First Supply Depot sale, which was about the time sprites were introduced, featured accessories related to each of three sprites (haunted and ghost auras = Maskeraith, Divine Valkyrie Wings, Divine Halos and Divine Cat Tails = Seraphynx, Volcanic Dragon Wings = Drakon).
Present Supply Depot sale, so far got:
1. Combuster, Fiery Atomizer, and Volcanic Pepperbox (Fire inflicting weapons)
2. ??? (I was unable to log on Thursday - have I miss anything?)
3. Drake Scale Mail, Drake Scale Helm, Dragon Wings, Wyvern Scale Shield (Dragon related items)
Is there any theme/key to the items that appears on present sale?
