The new boss will be the White Witch so that by killing her we can end the Cradelian Ice Age.
Ah! Haha!
Bring me the Brotherhood of Spiral, OOO. And some sweet steampunk power-armor.
New boss is recoloured Vanaduke called Vanaduchess. She will throw rainbows and summon little ponies.
Tortodrone must've been a Soviet from the Cold War then.
So Vanaduke is like our Rick Astley? I can totally imagine that.
"All the stratums line up like Freeze Poison Freeze Freeze Poison Freeze Poison."
"Freeze Poison Freeze Poison Freeze Freeze Poison?"
"No! Listen up this time!"
/me gets the urge to dance infront of a mirror. これか? これか? これか?
If the developers add in furniture like park benches in haven, I want the option to fall backwards off one.
In Soviet Cradle, cupcake eats you.
Oh, I see, it's that time of night. I better go to bed before I weird people out more.
And post 1 does make a touhou reference, The strongest should enough in terms of "broken" difficulty while making it kind of an intimidating fight.
Yeah but easy was always a broken difficulty. Who plays Touhou on easy? It even says you can't complete all stages on it so it's basically a "practice/casual" mode.
What I feel is broken is Patchouli's Sun Sign: Royal Flare spellcard. That thing sucks monkey balls. The majority of Flandre's spellcards are fun to play against, but that one is just terrible.
Or maybe I haven't learnt the trick to it yet. After 150 or so attempts, I still haven't figured a way around it. The most annoying thing is the bullet spawn flare blocks the view of other parts of the chain that you need to see.
The fact that this thread was hijacked as well as its lack of sense amuses me to no end.
Oh but I never said anything about being sensible myself, so I'll leave this..
"Welcome traveller, to the boudoir of the Snow Queen."
Do what you have to do.
Flans spell cards are fun, but i recently played Aya's Peerless Wind God card (Mountain of Faith). It was my first time without looking on youtube to see a safespot. It was frantic
@Post 10
You don't have to be a fan to like Touhou. There are other aspects of it you'll maybe find interesting.
Which one is Aya? I've played a bit of MoF but I haven't read the names. And I never look at youtube, I prefer to figure things out by myself. The "fun" level of an attack I find is determined both by its creativity, and balance of how easy it is to learn how to dodge. Compare Flandre's.... whatever that move is called that shoots green bars horizontally and vertically across the screen with those big yellow bullets bend and curve the lines (that's hella fun) to a move like Royal Flare where it'll take you hundreds of attempts to either find a way to dodge it at that high speed (has a ridiculously high skill threshold that isn't even needed for the Flandre fight), or find safespots.
For example, that Cirno spellcard that was linked above has a pretty high skill threshold for something at its level. It's still doable though. Most new people have a problem with it (talking about on normal) because it requires a skill (which I don't know the correct name of, I'll just call it "lane switching") that isn't needed extensively until late game. Because of this Cirno is both challenging and fun all the way up to Sakyua/Remilia skill level.
Continuing this crazily offtopic discussion, I only recently learnt how to "lure lackeys", as in, wait until basic enemies have fired before shifting a tiny bit to the side, and repeating this process. I used it a few times on bosses, but only recently realised its immense importance on Flandre's level where everything fires spreadshots with the middle shot aiming at you.
ONTOPIC:
What about Polidori's Planet Eater, ParaSOL? It could control the climate.
Chromosver, lovely reference to webcomic I read and accidentally forgot was updated recently.
/e still can't play bullethell games.

Trust me, just because you get flattened on the first level doesn't mean you can't play them. Practice, Skold. Practice. I've spent two or so hundred hours on them and only just completed a 6-stage run on normal on a single game.
It might be Yuyuko, she's stealing all the spring away.
