The mission is to find a way to make every over requested weapon or armor in the suggestion section actually good enough to be added to the game.
So far I have crossbows, scythes, shadow bomber armor, "shotgun",a poison weapon, and a new gremlin weapon covered.
Current list of things to do:
P̶o̶i̶s̶o̶n̶ ̶w̶e̶a̶p̶o̶n̶s̶
Lances/spears
"̶s̶h̶o̶t̶ ̶g̶u̶n̶"̶ ̶*̶g̶r̶o̶a̶n̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶d̶i̶s̶a̶p̶r̶o̶v̶a̶l̶*̶
laser/peircing sjot

Can you think of any popular weapon/armor suggestion I missed?

Allow me:

The Burning Boomstick.

2* - The Spiral Shotty.

Has one shot.
Fires a tight spread of 3 antigua-like projectiles up to 5 tiles away. Projectiles spread across to two tiles in the end.
Damage: Elemental.
It should look like a simple shotty, only spiral knights style. (Maybe with one of those alchemer energy cell things in place of the barrel.)

3* - The Spiral Disembowler

Has two shots.
Fires a tight spread of 3 antigua-like projectiles up to 5 tiles away. Projectiles spread across two tiles in the end.
Damage: Elemental.
It should look like a slightly better version of the Spiral Shotty, maybe with two energy cells.

4* - The Heavy Disembowler.

Has two shots.
Fires a tight spread of 4 antigua-like projectiles up to 6 tiles away. Projectiles spread across two tiles in the end.
Damage: Elemental, Good chance of weak fire.
It should like a Heavy Duty Disembowler, maybe with a small gas tank.

5* - The Burning Boomstick

Has three shots.
Fires a spread of 6 antigua-like projectiles up to 6 tiles away. Projectiles spread across three tiles in the end.
Damage: Elemental, Strong chance of weak fire.
It should be a seriously badass shotgun. I might even be able to upload a render of a model in a seperate thread later.

If anything, I'd say a shotgun would have to be a normal-type damage. If you want a normal damage weapon, I feel it needs to have a lot of utility or a LOT of damage. If you go with the utility shotgun, it needs to be basically like a Calibur Charge in knockback (except not in 360 degrees). Maybe not that extreme... but admit it, it'd be fun to launch a Lumber across the screen with a shotgun blast.

For Poison weapons, I think the poison should be a reliable chance. One of the reasons I don't like the Plague Needle and the Dread Venom Striker is because they don't reliably cause poison on the first few hits. Both weapons already rely on poison to compensate for their lower damage, but without reliable poison, it's just a weaker weapon.

For Lances and Spears, just make it thrusting attacks only, like the second and third swing of the Flourish Combo. Give them increased reach and the ability to pierce through multiple enemies.

And then for Laser/Piercing Shots... well... They seem rather self explanatory really.

For poison how I see it is

For poison how I see it is the weapon either should have a high hit rate or high poison rate. If it has neither then it fails as a poison weapon.
So a shotgun could work.
*leaves to go write shot gun style weapon that causes poison*
Thank you!

Elemental shotgun =yes. If there isn't a zombie slaying shotgun, you might as well not even include them/.

Finished the "shotgun". I used quotation marks because it is not the kind of shotgun you would imagine. It does have multiple hits per shot like a shot gun, spread, and low range but... well I'll just tell you it is in the LoA section of the thread linked in OP. That would be the third post I think.

>Everyone says ''We need piercing weapon D:'' NO we need SHADOW weapon ;3

List of final Piercing weapons:
- Antigua* (3*)
- Barbarous Thorn Blade~
- Blitz Needle
- Callahan
- Dark Briar Barrage
- Deadly Splinter Bomb
- Fearless Rigadoon
- Final Flourish~
- Furious Flamberge
- Plague Needle
- Scintillating Sun Shards

List of final Shadow weapons:
- Acheron
- Biohazard
- Dark Retribution
- Deadly Dark Matter Bomb
- Gran Faust
- Graviton Vortex
- Sentenza
- Shocking Salt Bomb
- Umbra Driver

List of final Elemental weapons
- Argent Peacemaker
- Ash of Agni
- Combuster
- Deadly Crystal Bomb
- Divine Avenger
- Electron Vortex
- Fang of Vog
- Glacius
- Hail Driver
- Magma Driver
- Nova Driver
- Polaris
- Searing Edge^ (2*)
- Shivermist Buster
- Shocking Edge^ (2*)
- Stagger Storm
- Storm Driver
- Venom Veiler
- Voltaic Tempest
- Voltedge
- Warmaster Rocket Hammer

* Does upgrade, but is the only version of its alchemy-tree that inflicts Piercing damage.
~ Same attack-pattern but with different charge attacks.
^ Shares the same traits as the Brandish-line weapons, but does not belong in its alchemy path.
emIdentical to (an)other weapon(s) in the same alchemy-tree with only a slight alteration in power and/or status-infliction.

These are some rather big lists, and at first glance it does appear that Piercing has more weapons than Shadow, lying at 10 (5*)-11 and 9 weapons respectively, and Elemental beating both of them to the ground with its plethora of Elemental weapons counting 19 (5*)-21 weapons, but in taking away all of the redundant weapons and weapons that do not upgrade into 5* we have these lists:

List of final Piercing weapons:
- Barbarous Thorn Blade~
- Blitz Needle
- Callahan
- Dark Briar Barrage
- Deadly Splinter Bomb
- Final Flourish~

List of final Shadow weapons:
- Acheron
- Biohazard
- Dark Retribution
- Deadly Dark Matter Bomb
- Gran Faust
- Graviton Vortex
- Sentenza
- Umbra Driver

List of final Elemental weapons
- Argent Peacemaker
- Ash of Agni
- Combuster
- Deadly Crystal Bomb
- Divine Avenger
- Electron Vortex
- Fang og Vog
- Nova Driver
- Polaris
- Warmaster Rocket Hammer

As you can see, Piercing has the least amount of unique weapon types, counting only 6 types of weapons. 5 if you want to be really strict and rule out the BTB/FF charge-differentiation. Shadow has more unique weapon types than Piercing at 8 unique weapons, even though Piercing has more weapons when you include all of its alternate upgrade weapon types. Elemental has the most unique weapon types, but only by 2 sitting at 10 unique weapons. Looking at them now, Shadow and Elemental are actually fairly close with all of the other redundant weapons out of the picture, so yes, we do need more unique Piercing weapons than we do Shadow weapons. Though I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of having more status-inducing Shadow weapons.

You left off Fang of Vog on elemental weapons. Not that many people really use it anymore, but still.

So I did! I feel really bad about forgetting this glorious sword. (It seriously is one of my favourite swords so the fact that I forgot just makes it even worse.)

Updated the post.

The problem of elemental having more weapons than shadow or piercing is only greatly magnified by the fact that elemental weapons have the largest selection of status variants.

That's why personally I think they should introduce new physical themed status effects that can be aligned with piercing, since right now stun is the only physical status effect. I could totally go for blind and bleed status effects.

Bleed? What would that even do? Taking damage repetively is already taken by fire.

As you move you take additional damage.

Strong counter to wolvers/devilites, Strikers in PvP.

@Khamsin

Bleed does sound a little too much like fire, and it might be tricky to go back in add bleed weakness/defense to the current armor (though maybe we create enough negative statues, Chaos will finally be balanced). I also don't see how useful it would be in PvP, since the striker in question would flee whether or not you hit them with bleed (If the choices are "stay still and die" or "run and likely die", they'll take the path that offers a chance of survival every time).

oh you people and your failure to make weapons

We don't need to remake current statuses to pair them with damage types. We can just stick the current statuses onto our current damage types then explain how it works.

Example
"The Skolvarta, a blade with many sharp teeth said to be as cold as they are sharp." Basically a wooden club covered in skolver teeth that uses there natural coldness to freeze what it tares at.

"The Shatter Shank is a strange tool. Many claim that it is technically alive and we are abusing a living creature by using it but this has yet to be taken as the stance of the spiral order so the blade thought to be a living slime is still allowed. This strange blade is a simple dagger at first glance but is actually a chunk of a toxic slime that breaks away with each jab into the target then regrows rapidly. This allows knights to easily poison foes while piercing them." That description is rather explanatory. It is a blade made out of a slime that regrows after each break off into the target thus increasing the rate of poison with each hit.

"This odd gun is thought to be infused with the power of confusion and darkness. It leaves small trails of shadow mist with every shot taken around both the user and thing shot thus making it just as much of a threat to the user and to the thing shot if they stand around too long."
A little more vague but it is a shadow stun gun that would produce a player and enemy effecting stun mist around where the player shot from and where the bullets end.

@Waffle

Beasts and gremlins innate resistance to elemental effects makes non-elemental weapons that deal elemental statuses fairly weak/pointless.

Right now, aside from adding stunning shadow weapons, there's not a whole lot that can be done without new status effects. Pierce especially has this issue.

What issue is that? You could

What issue is that? You could easily reason any status into any damage type of today.
Also look at the brandish line Khamsin. They are all split normal. This means they still work well on EVERYTHING and jut better on others. That is why they are broken.
