Quick way to get fire crystals (i got 12 in 2 min before, and 15 in 3 min like this before): Do the Candlestick keep mission on elite which is the one before gauntlet (sorry, i forgot what is wuz called).
Just a quick way to get crystals without fighting hordes of enemies (if u don't fight every enemy there). Also, this easier with swift steps.

Rushing candlesticks can make you radiant rich
After a week of searching for black kats, I had over 2500 radiant fire crystals. If you want rarities, rush a candlestick. If you want crowns, heat, AND rarities, delve into the fiery depths of firestorm citadel.
Or, alternatively, do a danger mission or two. They're fun and refreshing, and give a nice radiant fire crystal payout!

reason i dont like vana
it takes about 45min-1hr to do, which meaks about 1 crystal a min, i got 12 in 2 min in a candlestick keep.

if FSC takes you an hour, you're doing it wrong.
Sure, you can get more Radiant crystals that way, but if you farm FSC you'll get enough at a reliable enough rate AND you'll be making $/heat as well.

Arenas, Danger Missions, and Danger Rooms are all great farming levels, especially in Elite. (Though they are much harder in Elite.)

FSC takes me at most 45 minutes if I'm spending more time chatting and goofing off than fighting. Usually, if I'm focused, it takes me around half an hour.

my 2 cents
Speed-running FSC for tokens... avrg run: 19 minutes
Farming FSC for cr/heat avrg run: 35 minutes
avrg speed-run FSC output: 5-6k cr + tokens + half mats
avrg FSC output: 8-10k cr + tokens + full mats
It all depends on your skill level, arenas are nice too but D27 they get wayyy too hard for the output vs running FSC for the time it takes to clear. Treasure vaults are your best bet in efficiency, if you can grab one, go for it! Fast, no mobs, guarantee loot + you can shoot prize box accross with vials/drivers before opening them with ce to see if it's worth it...
Plus those are avrg mark. We did 2 speed-run in 30 minutes after a whole day of speed-running. If you get your gear together and apply to it you can do amazing (3 running on chaos, 1 plague, 2 blitz, people with 1000+ hours into the game each will do amazing), plus those numbers are pre battle sprites and pre Elite, they still stand though, been running FSC a lot lately, you can maybe speed-run faster now with MSI and dash though....
FSC Elite is a nice spot to farm 5* mats too, guarantee 2, maximum of 5-6-7, not too shabby ^ ^
There's a reason why it's the most farm area, not too hard either
Edit: Run with alt so you can leave and come back, kill alt to get onto buttons so they use emergency rez to go forward, then you kill them, you only need em at start anyway so they can invite you back. Vana w/o vita is rough though ^ ^

Either you are full of it or I have the worst luck ever
FSC. 50+ Radiants per run.
