I post this here because the trading sub-forum is obviously for trading. This thread is for sharing your important trades (non-AH nor forum)by shouting for hours at havens so that we may learn from your experience.

How did it make you feel? Were you nervous that the trade would go bad? What was the price and the item?How did the trade go?etc.

Here's mine:

I was going for the arena at the copper knight gate for crowns.I also got lucky getting 12 orbs in about 15-19 arena matches. As I got to the crossroads, I found nice sets of equipment at basil's and I got the swiftstrike buckler from him. I realized that i could sell the bucklers quite late(but not too late).As soon as I started my offer,I was radio'd by a vanguard and a guild master(i think). I managed to sell him 4 swiftstrike bucklers for about 20k but then I started thinking in a strange way.The trade although successful,semmed like a failure to me.I wasn't satisfied with the income and wanted to sell them more expensively until I realized what has become of me and decided post my story on this forum.

Morale of the story:A merchant's biggest enemy is greed.

Found the guy meandering around the arcade, trying to sell it at the peak of the promo. I gave him a complimentary Flourish and Voltech Alchemer with the trade.

Best trade I got was a sealed sword with asi med for 70kcr, good deal imo. There was a time where a guildmate of mine crafted an autogun with CTR VH and I totally could have gotten it from him for like 1000cr, but that would be so messed up. I'm sure we all have had chances to totally swindle someone though.

On a side note a friend of mine gets so many free/super discounted things it is not even funny. Is it cause she is a girl? :| I honestly thought girls getting stuff was a myth, but I talked to some people i know who walk around in female outfits and they say they get free stuff too. That is not right.

Anyways,the sealed sword you bought was way expensive IMO.

because I can get it from brinks and then get a variant from "punch" with a cheaper cost
The reason he sold it expensive might be due to unbound cost.

I've gotten plenty of things for cheaper than they're worth and resold, mostly from the AH. My Delicate Eyes were bought for 60k from winning an auction while I was asleep, when I offered 250k to someone for them the night before but got rejected. Well, stuff happens.

Umm..

I was talking to *I forgot* and this was during the cake promo and I really wanted a frozen great cleaver. After a long time *probably 10 minutes* we settled on a deal. I traded a prismatic halo and prismatic dragon wings for his cleaver and 6k energy :D I felt a little bad cause I didn't make as much as I would have liked from those but I got my cleaver which I charge spam in LD now which makes me happy (:

ASI med = worth a lot more

You would be lucky to punch a sealed sword and get asi med or even low. Chances are you would get some random damage boost and most likely a low one at that. Also people want asi for LD especially on something that cannot be two star crafted for UVs. GF and DA spam FTW.

I don't remember saying that I envy female/fake female players. I just said it is strange especially since people literally scream out that ingame females are often actually guys. I thought the part about me not taking that CTR VH autogun would convince someone I have some dignity and would not do that. I mean sure it is their fault for giving stuff away to people with female looking avatars, but nevertheless I am above that.

You seem new to trading, be open to the input of others and you'll learn a thing or two.

I've only made 2 player-to-player trades, but the best one was in a Jelly King run and someone said "anyone want to buy 50 energy for 2k". The other was a divine stone for a shadow stone.

Well for sprite foods

When sprites first came out, I made about 25k per pack of 15 2* sprite food for Drakons and Seraphynxes. Made like 200k in a few days.

My best trade was definetely my latest 5 scrap metal for 200 crowns.

I got a prismatic dapper combo at 5k cr from AH too and couple finds here and there... lately I got Silver keys for 40k cr XD

I also had a Storm Driver ASI VH sold to me for 7kE, and a Book of Dark Rituals for 13kE.

I got scammed 20kE by Vinnie-Graz.
That was not cool, so I stopped mail trading.
If you see that guy, tell him he's the son of Gregory Focker. From the movies, of course. (No swearing here! ;D)

A kind fellow offered to sell ce to me when I was starting out. Iput up 10k cr, they put up 6k ce. I promptly said "Is this right?"
The merchant apologized, as they added more zeroes than intended. I left with 600 ce and the satisfaction of doing the right thing. I could have easily ran away with a huge haul.

Around the time I was 4*, accessories were released. I proceeded to mock anyone opening a lock box. One person laughed with me as they opened several boxes. They crafted a Dusker coat, and gave it to me for "a good sense of humor". The coat had freeze medium on it. Seeing how I had what I needed, I sold the coat via AH, for 90k cr.

As time went on, I garnered attention in tier two lockdown. Using Arc Razor and Static Capacitor, I was a notable recon. Notable enough to catch the attention of incredibly generous people. "A gift. For the most versatile Tier 2 player." In my mail, I found an ASI med Arc Razor, and an ASI VH Brandish. Needless to say, I have tons of fun making heads roll just as much as I bashed them.

I became a tad greedy. My collectiom of cheap Hallow helms bothered me. They would have sold for like 2k each. So, I took a shot in the dark, and set the bid price to 1cr, and the buyout at 150k. I made nearly 2mil cr just from this. Maybe I should change my name to Wario.

Skip ahead a long while, I snagged a prismatic toupee off the auction house for 35k. Sold it for 300k.

I'm a pretty happy Whimsy.
