Since Wegner now explains that minerals are used EXCLUSIVELY for feeding your sprite, What am I going to do with all of this left over Valestone and Moonstone? Also, what about that 10K minerals achievement I've always dreamed of getting?

It was mentioned by Nick in the Testing Feedback board, I think. I don't remember where, but I do know I saw it.
Now that I remember it, they did say they're reworking Walk It Off, so that's not random guesswork either.

On the test server, there were sprite foods craftable with the other two minerals. I assume they were removed to avoid people accidentally crafting currently useless foods.

I've seen, and called out a thread that posted spoilers WITH AN EXACT SCREENSHOT OF SAID BOSS in the general discussion, and it was terminated 5-10 seconds after I called it out to a GM via a post in it.
If you mean like "Oh hey! I found a easter egg in this level! here's a screenshot!" then that's okay.
Little known fact, I actually am doing that. I'm hoarding loads of crimsonite to turn into power stars for a guildmate who's been offline for like half if not a whole month. Don't tell [insert gender/name here].
And no, I am not buying the angel kitty and Drakon. Why would I blow 4K CE on somethings I'd never use and that would also take me 2 months to level to 100? My maskeraith hit 100 (or became unfeedable) a few if not a day before you could buy the others. Plus, Masky suits me well for every situation I've come across thus far.

Yeah it baffles me too. It's mostly people who have never used the forums before though, they just appear out of nowhere for the sole purpose of "sharing their finds".

I'm an achievement hunter (not the Youtube channel but an actual guy hunting down achievement) and that one was quite easy to get (assuming you played the game for a bit)
I don't understand these "I have 59 out of 60 achievements!! I need to rez someone with 1 hp now!
I don't get how people have 99% of the achievements and are left with those 2... I mean... if you want that achievement go for it, if you don't then don't complain if it change along the way (because yes, it will probably change)
They already have two more Sprites planned. You can probably guess what that means.
I can imagine the mineral achievements are going to be fixed/changed/trashed alongside Walk It Off in some future update.
