Today marks the second anniversary of the Shadow Lairs' release, and they've been quite a hit. What do you think?
Two Years
Wow it really doesn't seem like it's been that long. Who knew... time flies when you have fun :p
I think I've been apart of maybe 25 to 30 SL runs total. I can only think of one bad memory, the rest have been bunches of fun. I tend not to go on them anymore since most people now want you to pay for 1/4 of the key which is plenty fair, but just not for me when I haven't had anything to craft from there in a very long time. What can I say, I'm a penny (crown) pincher. Each lair has it's own style and ways to go about defeating it. I have enjoyed each of them very much and will to come I'm sure.
I think it is disappointing they're still behind a paygate that requires payment every time they're run.
I understand why, but I guess I wish it wasn't that expensive. The lairs themselves are ridiculously hard and while the loot drop is higher than the normal boss, you don't even come close to breaking even. The gear is okay, but like any gear, you have to hope you get a good UV (or roll for them) otherwise they just don't seem that worth it. They have cool designs though so I guess accessory-wise they're worth it?
This is just opinion, really. I'm supposed to be going through UFSC tonight with guildies. Anyone want the mat? I'll be selling it.
I'd love to do some Shadow Lair run today, mostly UFSC. But, first of all, I hope it's with USA people. Since I have 2 bars there!
Nep. When you pass through the FRT, could you snag me THAT mat? I want a sweet Mercurial Demo Suit to go with my Steam Knight Mask.
I could tell you if I'd ever had the chance to play one, but...yeah.
