So everyone know about the steam log in problem, even some admin, or all of them i don't know, so this is a proposition, it wouldn't fix it but less people would have the problem, migrating a steam account to the actual site account, by that i mean that we get a spiral knight account, and then allt he knight we have from steam could be migrated in that spiral knight account.
BUT THERE IS A VERY BIG PROBLEM!
This system could lead to character being stolen and other stuff.

No more than moving from website issued logon details to steam logon details.
The steam issue is with the Valve servers right now. Even if they migrated the accounts it would still take a extremely long time as you will be dealing the server to transfer. It is best to wait until valve fixes this (I am still trying to get a good connection to valve servers on TF2).
I'm talking about the character migrating into a spiral knight account, then you wouldn't be using steam for spiral knight anymore, then valve server, no one is gonna care about that c:
As much as Steam is horrible, there currently is no real way of converting back to a standalone account without bothering the developers themselves to an alarming degree.

I understand that, but to get the characters first you must rip them from the valve servers, which right now are having a hissy fit. The items for steam characters are stored on steam which means if you want them you will need to access those servers. It will not be a easy task and by the time you even start the issue will be fixed.
To my knowledge, All you have to do is enable steam-in-game-UI. I've never any log-in problems since I transferred to Steam.
Or you could just wait an hour or so for them to fix it?
It'd probably take more time to migrate all the steam accounts than it would to just fix the steam log in problem.
