What if Rhendon assisted us in FSC?

For anyone unable to read titles, what do you think would happen if Rhendon fallowed us around during the mission King of Ashes, AKA Fire Storm Citadel? It was something I was thinking about recently while I was there. I considered the possibilities of him fighting along with me and my party.

A bit of information for those who have long forgotten Rhendon:

1) He is the noob trainer at the beginning of the game.

2) He carries around a Blitz Needle.

3) This said Blitz Needle seems to have an infinite magazine.

4) This Blitz Needle can also be charged very quickly. (Seems like just a little over a second)

5) Just a wild guess from observations, but it looks like Rhendon can fire, move, and then continue to fire the same magazine or begin a charge.

6) Rhendon himself is nearly invincible and he can even fully heal himself in a short amount of time after taking a powerful blow or status such as fire.

7) I don't know if this is just by coincidence, but Rhendon seems to know every little location and hiding spot of a level where he camps out to attack.

8) Rhendon doesn't take damage from spike traps, it is likely he wont from any other trap either.

Now for a bit of basic info about FSC:

1) This place is covered from ceiling to floor with fire. A status that as mentioned, Rhendon can shake off with ease.

2) The more threatening enemies such as Trojans are easily disposed of with Blitz Needles. Rhendon has an Ultra Super Powered Mega Blitz Needle.

3) Swarms of Slag Walkers are the primary enemies found in FSC. Not much to say for Rhendon here, just a simple fact.

4) Fire and spike traps line up in every possible surface. Rhendon can easily walk through them with no harm done.

5) Team work is required for many parts of FSC. Usually this includes a player doing one thing while another player protects them. While players can be moving totems or destroying wheels for example, Rhendon can be firing at any hostiles. The rocket puppy room is another great example.

6) The boss fight, Lord Vanaduke, is most effectively defeated by Blitz Needles. In a full party of players + Rhendon, it gives 1 more Blitzer to help kill Vana. This means players could adjust their strategy to fit Rhendon's offensive power in. (Two fire fighters, a Shivermister, and a player with a Blitz along with Rhendon to fight Vana himself.)

Well guys, thats the information about the situation. What do you think would happen if Rhendon really did help us in FSC? What about the shadow lair version as well?

It would make no sense to add a bot to a party of (supposedly) hardened players.

If the player does a solo run, it would be nice, though.

If Rhendon came along, he

If Rhendon came along, he would probably give away our souls to Vanaduke, saying it's not worth the risk.

Arkate is obviously uninformed of what a Valve quality weapon is.

@ Sweet-Hope and Avenged

@Sweet-Hope: Wow, the is quite interesting. I never managed to find a way to kill him. But if this is the case I guess players would just have to wait until the next party button where Rhendon will likely teleport in to salute you for the 200th time and start talking about how dangerous this place is.

@Avenged: Well sure, that is obvious. If this game had limited ammo and bombs no one would use anything but swords. What I meant to say is that Rhendon can fire the same magazine for long periods of time. He doesn't just stop at the first 2 shots. On record, I've seen him fire 9 rounds from the same magazine before he decided to charge up an attack. At this point he did need to reload. Like, 4 times. I guess he must have multiple invisible chambers attached to the side of the main barrel.

@Thunder-The-Bright Weapons

@Thunder-The-Bright
Weapons of "Valve" quality are only given to Valve employees - just in case they want to have fun in-game.

@Bamzalot
So what about assigning Rhendon to solo FSC runs? I kinda like the idea, really.

Not an idea for a suggestion, just a discussion.

Which is why I put this under discussions, not suggestions.

I always found that playing with Rhendon was entertaining. I don't know why, but something about his OPness yet failure to recognize he could have done all our missions twice as good as us and more so really gets me thinking. (I mean, he gave the first gremlin he found some supper important artifact that could "eventually" become a key part of this game. Even though 3 minutes later he had no problems with fighting him.) That's where this idea came from.

I have had an idea revolving around being able to hire some NPC characters. But that's just an early thought right now that I will post when I have a better idea of how it would work out.

Rhendon handled the Apocreans pretty well, so..

Rhendon is a man because Rhendon lifts. Vanaduke melts kitkats so Aduros hates him. It's simple, really.

Except that I do know what Valve quality weapons are. And that they're admin only items.

When you're this swag this world just bows at your knees

1. You just restated what The-Vindicar said three comments up.
2. What you said in comment #2 makes no sense if you were actually aware of what I was talking about.
