I understand this is a very common topic already
But let's say there was a 12 year old playing this game. This 12 year old:

*Was mature about losing AND winning
*Never asked you for SoL's when he died
*Did absolutely nothing to anger you
*Friendly

Would you ban him?

No

We don't usually ask player's ages unless we are best friends...

George killed Lennie. Why did he kill Lennie?! /cry

No, I would not ban him. But who are you referring to? I hope you are not referring to yourself.

I wouldn't ban the kid because the kid isn't breaking a rule. Is the kid under-aged...? Well, he didn't say anything about his age, so there's no proof that the kid is 12 years old (unless he says so).

its not matter about if they are mature or dont ask stuff like most of the noobs, and its also not like OOO dont want young kids to play, its about a law (i dont remember the name since im not frm the US so i dont know how its called :P) but its about a law that talk about protection of childs over internet.

the only thing you dont have to do is joking around that you are 12 years old. because if someone report you, you are banned for sure.

A player that is underage and displays mature behavior likely wouldn't have their age questioned in the first place. If they admit it to a friend, they're not likely to be banned or given a warning unless they report them. G

A player that is underage, admits it in public chat, and displays immature and rude behavior, is more likely to be banned or given a warning.

Getting reported is key factor in this. Either way, disclosing such information is a tricky business, and I wouldn't try my luck in dabbling in such.

This is useless. My blade of destiny is useless. WHYYYYY????!!!!

Lol, my 9 year old brother plays SK. Yet he's not banned. He asks for sparks all the time and he is one of the most annoying I ever met.

the law

The relevant law is COPPA. Due to this law, Three Rings' life is much easier if they simply ban children under 13.

No, I do not go around reporting under-age players. But nor would I get upset, if I heard that Three Rings was banning them. Three Rings has to fulfill its legal obligations.

my super-power

How do you know all these stuff ?

This topic has come up several times in the forums over the past few years. I learned about COPPA from one of those threads. Then I read about it elsewhere, and it made sense as the reason for the age limit in SK.

In other words, my only super-power is reading the forums and remembering. :)
