This actually really cool and was going to implement it in my fangame. Since that game is sprite-based, loading times would be minimal.
All that saying, though, this won't work in the official game because it takes longer to load...
Unless maybe it could be an option?

In a perfect world where everyone had 0 ping and seamless frame-rate, yes, this would be a nice touch. However as this is not the case, -1. Maybe as a toggle-able option, as Autofire said, so that players can inflict the additional load time upon themselves.
