I'm tired of farming Weight of Darkness / Alone in the Dark, first day I got lot of Black Kats, around 15 in 3 - 4 hours. Now, I can't find even one, after 3 hours of grinding. It looks like they lowered the spawn rate or i'm very unlucky...
Any other places to farm Black Kats

I found a whopping total of 0 yesterday. But today, I found 4 within 20 minutes.
RNG is just being spiteful.

I am close to 2 hours of playing today and still none. And thanks to Hyperion for very usefull and motivational reply when I sent mail about that (as always when he make an answer which is just copy-pasted as always).

well usually when i open up
well usually when i open up SK and do Alone in the dark mission, i can easily find black kat in 1st hour, then later on it stop spawn, i stop grinding too.
Try go to 2nd depth in Alone in the dark, there is chances black kat spawn in 2nd depth

Alone in the Dark first level
Alone in the Dark first level over and over cant get depressing, I got my book from the second depth. But doing the second depth is normally a gamble, can be all zombies but if it is Kats then you will find a lot of Kats which gives a higher chance of a BK. Also, the second level is a snow level wit brightness which helps counter the Darkness from the first level. So go to the second level every few runs to help you switch up a little.

Here's what I do:
I spam the first depth of the prestige mission. I think Black Kats tend to spawn after the arena party button or in a wave. Anyway back to the levels, Once I find a Black Kat, I run the mission again to see if another one appears. If not, I run Alone in the Dark until I find one and I repeat what I did before. I'm starting to believe that OOO picks a handful to get a Book of Dark Rituals.....

Choice is limited unless we get a guaranteed Haunted Passage on D19 you'll be stuck with either one of the three boring and repetitive missions (Prestige, AiD, WoD). I've never heard of anyone meeting a Black Kat on a Scarlet Fortress (tried farming it myself, don't even bother), which limits the possibilities even more. Yep, the worst event, no grinding they said.

I believe they have VERY decreased spawn rate. I found 1 after hours of playing last 2 days.
