I decided to check what happens when you go solo while a statue is behind one of the gates on depth 26 in fsc while i am outside of the gate. The result was a MAJOR FLAW. What happens if you get kicked out by someone while a statue is inside and your outside? I want answers now, and not from people saying, "get help from a gm". I want a solution on how we can fix this, so we dont have future victims.

And btw, i might get comments from people saying this should belong to bug reports, but i put it on general discussion because a bug is something that not intentional. This is something the developers overlooked.

What do you expect players to do? We can't fix it. It requires some code and/or level redesign.

The only people who can fix it are the developers. So you have to contact them...

It is very much possible to be fixed, as earlier in the same depth the statue will teleport close to the location of the pressure pad it's supposed to be on if it is taken beyond the party button.

But yeah, OOO's devs are the best place to ask about this.

the best way to fix this it just 2 possible options:

1) just get rid off of those pressure plates and leave the gates open so parties choose where to go since party buttonts dont activate until all the alive party members step on the party buttons.

2) they just need to add those small buttons instead the pressure plates, so players just activate the one they want to go.

isnt that hard.

ugh, can't you just call in one of your guildy, let him/her stand on the pressure plate while you get the statue out before he/she returns to Haven?

Well there you go, problem solved, unless you are a lone wolf like me, stuff like this shouldn't be a problem. But still, this should be addressed as an issue... can someone tell me why are those pressure pads there in the first place?

How to fix:

1) Don't play with randoms.

2) Play solo.

But in all seriousness I agree with the whole pressure pad thing. Why they just didn't use buttons, or a switch that when hit it opens on gate and closes the other in the middle of the two gates instead?

I really don't think that's such a big deal. I've never seen anyone get stuck there aside from you, who tried to. Most of the time, it works out perfectly.

Really, this game has a lot of unwinnable situations.

Now that you've mentioned those, there's also many other ways to make a level unwinnable.

...I'll leave you to figure out those.

From a dev point, I guess I would try

While (Statue is away from pressure plate){
Wait 3 minutes
Check if status is being carried then respawn statue
If not, then please reset the timer
}

But as a player I would try... glitching the game.

Stand from one corner. Walk diagonally straight to the pressure pad. Pull the network wire when just before the pressure pad. Plug the wire back in. Hope that the disconnected you reached some kind of disruption on the server (we all know SK's server isn't perfect) and pray that you get in.

Other than that...

Spam the sprite skill and every other known possible action at the left side of the gate and hope something happens. I don't know how to find glitches and I suck at abusing them so... idk.

^Naw, the fix is way easier than that-- like others have said above, its really just a matter of making the switch take a button instead of a statue.

Fehzor wins the solution contest. The statues are redundant because there are party plates there anyway.

I once got stuck in FSC. I chose a side, along with one or two others but the last person in the party insisted upon going on the other side. After a bit, one person on my side decided to go outside, remove the statue from either button, and go solo, effectively screwing the rest of the party over. So I just went solo that time.

Look at the party tab in the social panel. Somewhere under the tab label, it said, "Restricted". Red-Galaxy couldn't invite anyone because a player left. So the party became restricted. And therefore it would be impossible to complete the level (only solution would be to restart the entire level/run).

Why do we even need a statue? Like, really? Put a single gate in front and a button where the statue used to be found. But while it's still here I ought to go trolling people. Pick up the statue, walk to the gate, and lock myself in there, then go solo.
