So I noticed that the coding/templates used in the (mysterious) alchemy machine lists are a mess (leftovers from the Krog machine I assume) - I've played in the sandbox a bit. What do you fellas think?
There's some minor issues with non-equip icons showing up, like the Fiendish ID card (a material, not an equipment). Will look into it later if people like this table in general.
If someone knows how to code a proper switch, and you like the table, go ahead and fix it. The "Blah!" edit on the template is when I gave up on the switch, in order to just see how the table basically feels.
EDIT: HAHA! Victory over coding! *maniacal laughter* Joy! Did I miss any item types? This is designed so it can be used for any Alchemy Machine - I hope.
Still want opinions on how it could be better/should it be used and so on.
Noticed that the battle sprite pods don't follow typical icon naming, should this be fixed (would require some thorough edits) or just let alone? It's not a huge problem, but...worth mentioning. Some stuff is "just" an "icon" - like harnesses - you don't really see them as anything besides icons, so they don't need to be distinguished as such. But I feel like a pattern should be maintained in case things like this ARE one day something besides an icon-only-entity.
Suggest: "BattleSprite-ItemName-icon.png" or something similar.
EDIT: stuck it on the "Mysterious Alchemy Machine" page to see how it feels/functions in that space. I like it (well of course I do). Easily undone if it's actually horrible, and I'm hallucinating. Now, I wait for the opinions! *sits*
