I would limit it a bit, as Putkinen said. Armor front, helmet front, and helmet side should all have free recovery. All other slots should have a crown cost to remove but not unbind. To unbind the item entirely, we would use one of the recovery tickets.
Suggestion: Make Free acessory recovery tickets but bind the items to players, pay the recovery tickets if you wish to unbind.
You know, it occurs to me that you could move an aura into a 1-star armor, sell that and then have the other guy unbind it from it for free. So much for that then.
I guess what's left is being able to move an aura from a piece of armor to another piece of armor of the same level. Not perfect but it's necessary, this just falls apart otherwise.
The item in which a bound accessory could be placed on would be bound upon placing the accessory, and could only be unbound if the accessory was unbound. Perhaps a second level of binding could be introduced for this? We could apply that to other binds like WRH and DR too.
I understand why it all shouldn't be completely free. But I have a few examples of acessories that sadly get trashed. Flowers, Mohawks, toupees, scarves, wings, the common auras such as love aura or sprinkle, vents, mustache and dapper combos, pocket monsters, blades, ribbons.
It's been a while I haven't seen love auras around, they used to be common.
Only things that aren't trashed that often are items above or same as unbind price. It's unfair in some ways.
It gets way too expensive to unbind just a normal accessory that you might want back from a costume or armor piece.
As somebody who accidentally upgraded a skelly helm that had military extra vertical vents instead of the skelly helm that I had just bought and intended to upgrade, I would appreciate this change so much. Military does not match regal-at all.
It need not be entirely free. I'd limit it to auras though. Everything else is common and thus, needs a sink.
