I was heating a Super Stun Gun during the three Battle Sprite missions, and when I took the elevator back to the Haven Lab, it showed the heat meter filling to maximum, but when I loaded in the Lab, that heat was gone. Note that I used the elevator and the missions are considered complete, so I didn't lose my heat due to quitting.
