"Trying to Auto-Detect Proxy Settings..."

Alright, gents. So I recently reformatted my PC, moved, and a got a new ISP. From what I can tell, most my stuff is up to date and everything seems to work fine... except for a piece named Fight The Dragon and this other things called Spiral Knights. Gunner update just hit, I'm giddy as a schoolbus full of Beiber enthusiasts driving to Canada, but I have a real roadblock in place.

Every time I boot up spiral knights, it attempts to ask for manual Proxy info before running over itself with "Trying to Auto-Detect Proxy Settings..."

Now the weird thing is: I don't have a proxy. Period. Additionally, this process will continue indefinitely, effectively making the game unplayable. FTD had issues with supposed Double-NAT, but we have a modem and router integrated in one, or so I've been told.

Here's some technical info that's hopefully of relevance:
-NVG589 Modem/Router provided courtesy of AT&T.
-No Proxy. I repeat, no Proxy.
-Windows 7 SP 1
-x86 64 bit PC, with according version of Java 8. Dumped java 7 in an attempt to get some clarity on this. It's not my java version, once again.

All this info begs me to ask if anyone is aware if double NAT could be a cause of this error, if it's possible despite claims the tech guy made this morning from AT&T, or if SK even gives a flying hoot about Double NAT to begin with.

EDIT: Crap. Plugged in default IP out of curiosity for the self-hiding proxy request screen, accepted info, game won't log in (of course) and there is no apparent way to undo the info plugging. Not in options menu, reinstalling on PC didn't matter. Gonna have to ask a secondary for if anyone knows how to undo doing this. Stupid as it was, I at least expected a way to edit the input afterwards, lol.

EDIT 2 (3?): Fixed issue with the Proxy settings. Found designated .txt for proxy settings and took it out, seems to work, so now I'm just back at Square 1 again.

FINAL EDIT: Found out it was comodo AV blocking stuff without telling me in the background, after supposedly closing the application. -10 points to Comodo. Feel free to lock thread, but if anyone else has the same issue, I'd recommend turning off all of comodo's security settings. Let's face it, they're overrated.

Thanks for your time, WCCC
