If all the best lockdown players quit , I don't think it does make sense any longer. Maybe releaving the rules so that we may get those players back in the ranking and appeal new good players? I mean;.. it needs dynamism!

The list never had a large portion of the best players anyway. If it doesn't make sense now, it never did.

To anyone who's still in this, have a good time! I made a ton of friends from the ranking in general and it was a great experience overall fighting in the ranking. Hope you guys can achieve the same!

I think this whole thing has reached a level of dumbness that is rather amusing to say the least.
Basically you're forcing people to play the way you want, with only the gear you want. How does that show who the best player is? Part of a battle is also picking your gear and playing accordingly to it, yet you're imposing all these bans.
What fun and diversity is there if everyone HAS to play with Skolver/Snarby Set, FF, GF, Vali and a Driver?

To finish this, I'd rather pick a fun, great and nice person who "never add nothing to LD community", rather than someone whose contribution is Polaris spam and an outstanding ratio of 1 tournament finished/10 tournaments started.

If anyone is interested, I have several Skolver/Snarby sets with all sorts of amazing UVs. Hit me up if you wanna be the best in this "new" meta :D

I find this stupid, now it's all limited to the way YOU want us to play.
-Banning statuses is okay, they're too RNG based.
-New Blasters banned okay, they really are too overpowered.

But banning sets? May aswell ban UVs and everything now.
I won't bother getting more UVs at this game, quitting rankings soon for sure.

meh, in all honesty the people who complained about chaos and bkc sets being "too op" are the reason for this

learn to dodge maybe? or cry less. whichever is easier

i say only ban bkr, leave bkc and chao sets. the people who don't like them can leave, rather than everyone who used them before leave, and have 10 people in ranking. personally, i'm not one who has a ton of good uvs for gear so this even further limits me, and chaos is about the only elemental defensive set i own, but i will still try my best with what i have. i would hope you reconsider this, but knowing the LD community, pride and ego are too easily hurt, and this decision, however annoying and stupid, will most likely stay

You gotta realize that the meta has been completely overhauled though. It's not like it's 2012 anymore. Most veterans may have already sold their previous gear and most new players probably have already went straight for Black Kat or Chaos just because the old gear was simply obsolete compared to the Black Kat gear and Chaos gear now and that's exactly like you said. The decision to ban both Black Kat gear and Chaos gear is just a nice way to kill this tournament all in all. The amount of active players in the tournament is already low and to top that you wanna pull this now? Good way to get people to quit and a good way to get people to not join at all in my opinion.

Can you make an absolute rule set? The fact that it's changed twice now is preventing me and my friend from getting in. (With the new Blasters being banned and now Black Kat gear as well as Chaos gear being banned. Me and him could at least work past the ban with Blasters and understand it better than this new one.)

People are so hypocritical.

The dudes managed to get a BKC that is worth 1M crowns but they want to make believe that they can't make a skolver/shadowsun that costs 4 times less. Even snarb is way easier to get for the kind of players in this ranking.

Let's take Sweetsu's statement " -New Blasters banned okay, they really are too overpowered" Ok , so being overpowered is a good reason to ban a weapon . But Bk is even more overpowered than new blasters what do we do? We have right to ban weapons but not sets?

What's more the banning reason is not at all about accessibility, it's about balance. Every set has its weakness, and polyvalent sets's ones are statuses. With them out of the ranking it is logical to have the " no weakness" sets banned too.

Actually it's very interesting because it will force people to make choices according their style of game. If they gun a lot but still want to use swords they will have to mix snarb and shadowsun but neither the gun power nor the sword power will be max.
If people want to play tanky they will have to abandon their offensive power and concentrate on a defensive power with ancient sets.
You can also go full guns with full shadowsun or full sword.
It can even makes place for those who want to be mobile guards or recon with mercurial sets ( why not bombers?).
All in all, what I like is that people now have to make the choices in term of way of playing that the status ban made disappear.

And I say it again and again but complaining about new valliances and not about BK is just ridiculous because what made new valliance OP was exactly BK and chaos.

Yeah sure in certain aspects it's been untouched, but nevertheless it's changed enough to achieve where it is today. There aren't just Skolver clones every where you look in Lockdown anymore. There's much more variety nowadays thanks to Black Kat gear and Chaos both.

I said Black Kat gear. This includes the 3-Star gear and 4-Star of the line as well. Also a non-UV BKC costs 13k E today. 50k+ E is completely unnecessary to dish out.

Do you think there's anyone on that list who has clocked less than 1k hours in SK? I don't know but I really don't think so."

A Chaos set is very versatile and there is every way you can gain experience to participate here with it. And what I mean by "new players" isn't someone straight out of the Rescue Camp. I literally just mean someone who is new to the game of Lockdown with no more than a few months (Whereas years would be a veteran) experience in Lockdown with decent gear. I actually know a few people like this and they've actually managed to get somewhere in Lockdown now.

K gotcha. Black Kat gear and Chaos gear outshines all other gear only in a statusless competition. (I personally think it does outshine other armors even in a situation where you're versus a status heavy gunner or bomber as long as you have swords and guns with it) That's a respectable notion and stance on the subject. And I would actually agree with it completely if the amount of Lockdown players left wasn't so low. At this point banning more stuff just means less competition.
