Dead gremlins

When gremlins die, they leave a corpse if there is a living healer nearby/on the floor (not sure which), which may then be revived. This is a problem when a player is in a fight room, and the healer is outside the fight room - the gremlins die, and lie on the floor for about half a minute, for which time, the player just has to sit around and wait for them to expire.
Suggestions:
Lower the range (from healers) that gremlins become corpses
Don't count corpses as enemies (similar to tiny jellies - the room will open whether they have been killed or not).

That is the case right now. The issue with this is that when a gremlin dies the same time a mender does, there's a chance for a corpse to be left depending on who died first.

Stop calling me that
And I meant that the program should repeatedly scan for a healer while the corpse is down so it figures out its been killed, even if they died at the same time

The program scans for a healer, and can find one, but that healer will never get to the corpse.

I don't see how any solution could beat this one.

It should be, the corpses only stay if the healer has an actual path to get to the bodies to revive them. If the healer can't get to them then they should just fade.
Just to make it a bit more fair to deconstruction zone menders, have the corpses fade after 10 seconds if there is no path. Full time if there is a path.
A better solution would be to make all corpses disappear when there's no healer
