Clockwork Heroes RP [discussion][APPS CLOSED]

The Morai Wars left Isora devastated and desolate. Once both sides developed the Tearium Bomb, it was only a matter of time. Entire nations were wiped off the map in the blink of an eye, and whole seas evaporated into the thin air, never again to condense. Civilization as you knew it collapsed. Sure, you still had your precious technology, but no longer did people work together for the greater good. No longer were people civilized as they once were.
But there were a few people who recognized the folly of their state. In the dead of night in a remote corner of their forsaken planet, they gathered together and forged a sacred pact, to bring order to a world spiralling into chaos. They chose an ironic name befitting their mission, one whose terms seemed oxymoronic at the time, but whose meaning transcended simplistic understanding:
The Spiral Order.
Though billions failed to see the value in their mission, there were a few million who did. Together, these few took control of an abandoned military vessel, the Skylark, and set off to explore the cosmos in search of something that could save their dying race.
Nothing could prepare them for what they found.

This game is going to be a freeform sandbox game. There will be missions, of course, but you're not obliged to perform them. Players will be responsible for creating the Clockworks as they explore it, as well as populating it with whatever monsters they feel like, since I don't have the time or energy to do all that for you. I will, however, attempt to weave you a story using a battery of powerful central characters. The major named NPCs are all mine; you are free to create any others as needed.
Since no character sheets are required, however, that means there will be a few additional rules to follow. I'll only accept knight characters. No gremlins, wolvers, mechs, or what have you; no other races are allowed. Knights only. No mercenaries or lone wolves are allowed, either. You're a member of the Spiral Order. Period. No if's, and's, or but's. Also, players aren't allowed to begin with 5* weapons, and they may not acquire them except when I expressely grant it to them.
To join this game, a small amount of information is required for screening:

Name: Cherub
Gender: male
Gear:
- Cherub's Raiment: Offers basic life support and vita-gear; has very little defensive value. What makes it stand out is the built-in shield system, controlled by a holographic bracelet on his left arm. The shield is always on and doesn't interfere with combat, allowing Cherub to fight with his shield up. And since the system is built into his armor, that frees up his left hand to wield another weapon. There is no other armor like it.
- Sealed Sword: An ancient celestial sword within which is trapped a hidden power waiting to be released. Contrary to popular belief, it does not need to be wrapped in those paper seals in order to stay sealed, and Cherub took them off a long time ago. He wields the weapon in his left hand.
- Bolted Blade: This is the weapon Cherub dual-wields in place of an arm shield. He uses it like a parrying blade, blocking incoming strikes with remarkable dexterity, and he sometimes slips it into the exposed weak spots of his enemies when opportunities arise. The weapon is also remarkably durable; a giant could step on it, and it wouldn't even weaken the blade. Cherub firmly believes this weapon is highly underrated. He wields the weapon in his right hand.
Additional Info: Possibly the best swordsman in the Spiral Order, Cherub is Ozlo's go-to man when he wants something done, and done right. He loves all living things and values them as equals. When coerced into taking lives, he cradles the enemies he kills and whispers them to sleep as they take their last breaths. When he has to destroy less-sentient life, he apologizes first before taking it. Due to his strong personal convictions, he served in the Gold Dragon Legion back in the Morai Wars where the only lives he had to take were high-profile Morai targets, and on Cradle, he strives to take only the lives that absolutely must be destroyed, preferably boss figures who cannot be redeemed.
Cherub is usually a reserved individual in social situations, though he can be quite chatty and amicable once you get him going. He's fond of helping people and doing them favors, though certainly not more than he feels is healthy, since he's also a pragmatic person who values his own well-being as much as he values that of others. Some people find his appearance creepy, and though it's not wholly unjustified (he does stare sometimes), their fears are quickly assuaged once they find the courage to talk to him.

Welcome to the team! I look forward to roleplaying with you once again. :-)

EDIT: Name: Gamma
Gender: Female.
Gear: Proto helmet.(The one that looks like the cobalt.)
Accessories: Mecha wings. Monicle.
Weapon: Proto sword.(Used for killing enemys.)
Sheild: Proto sheild.(sheilds.)
Additional Info: A newbie who trained on the Skylark, often curious about what it was like to be on another planet, loved sipping her morning coffee in the lobby. Galax's curiosity for new ground was quenched when she went through the escape capsule and landed on cradle! Scared and afraid, she built a camp and lived off wolver and welp meat for a while before finding the camp where all the other newbie knights were. She is curious, introverted, adventurous and quiet.

Do you mind choosing a less gamey name for your character please?

I wasn't planning on joining, because 'create your own story' isn't my kind of thing, but thinking back on my first RP, it did work out pretty well.
Name : Den
Gender : Male
Gear :
.
On a completely unrelated side note, I hurt my finger.

It's been a long time, friend. Welcome to the story.
Hurt a finger, and the whole body works to help it out. No member of the body is too small to matter.

Explain the How it Works section, please?
What are you, Ian McConville?
A bit of me died when I saw "Knights Only" because I like having more diversity than just emotions and equipment.
Not that I usually play other characters besides knights, with the rare exception of robots and AI.
So, question; If an AI is evolved so much that it inherits human qualities, Is it still an AI? Would that AI count as a Knight?
My joining into the RP is not dependant on your answers, but my character is.

Let's say your character is an artificially intelligent android and call it a day. ;-)

Name: Tor
Gear: Brandish, Spiral flak jacket, Spiral crescent helm, Proto shield, Proto gun, Proto bomb
Additional info: Tor is a perfect example of having your identity ripped apart. His father was a Morai legionnaire, and his family were staunch supporters of the war effort. But as the war dragged on things got more and more desperate. Seeing the errors in his families ways he left, abruptly and decisively. He then encountered the Spiral Order, and swiftly departed from Isora. Ever since then he's slowly questioned his choices, leaving everything behind isn't easy.
This inner struggle has made him distant to many of his fellow passengers on the Skylark, and the crash didn't help much either. In his current state he distrusts authority and is quite a loner, but that can easily change if he meets the right people.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, his brandish is the only thing he took from home, saying he's connected to it is an understatement.

Name: Filia
Gender: female
Age: 21
Gear-
Gunslinger set: the light material and looseness of the fabric allow Filia to handle her guns with not only more precision, but more speed than if she were wearing bulky armor. She wears an Ash Tail coat on top of her cloak, though, because it's so very warm. (She'll only get the coat when everyone arrives on Cradle, since I doubt Wolvers exist on Isora.)
RSMK2: a slightly modified Raptor handgun, able to switch between single and burst shots. The magazine is slightly larger, holding ten bullets instead of six. The name stands for Raptor sidearm Mark 2. It's also been outfitted with a reflex sight to help Filia's aim.
Warhawk: essentially a rifle version of the Raptor, dealing piercing damage. Its appearance is similar to an L96A1, and it is a bolt action weapon that uses FMJ bullets for maximum penetration. Cilia hand crafted this gun herself, and the care gone into creating the weapon is evident in both its intricacy and amazing functionality. She even outfitted the rifle with an adjustable scope, with zoom ranging from a mere 2x to 1000x, along with a thermal setting for times when visibility is low. It has a magazine capacity of only four rounds, but each bullet is very powerful.
Accessories: glasses, and a shark tooth necklace given to her by an old friend.
Additional Info: A gifted sniper, one of the few in the entire Spiral Order. Filia often serves as a scout or recon, mapping out new territories to explore. As for her origin... She was a normal girl, and she loved hunting. The sport gave her a sense of freedom and made her feel alive, but after the wars began, she became the hunted, often on the run from bandits and thieves. She joined the spiral order solely for protection at first, then began to warm up to the others. Now she's a friendly girl, but when she's im battle, her old thirst for the blood of her prey shines through like beacon. However, it should be noted that she does not enjoy causing pain, and will often only take a shot if it is a guaranteed instant kill. This is part of what makes her shot so accurate, as she is used to being able to nail running prey between the eyes from leagues away. The girl is also very tech savvy, and is a decent mechanic. She can also cook well and perform many other tasks to a decent level. She's sort of a jack-of-all-trades, except for the fact that she's a master marksman. The one thing she can't do, however, is use a bomb. She almost blew herself up on the first day aboard the a Skylark trying to defuse a rogue Nitronome, and still bears a scar along her arm as proof of it.
She also has this strange habit of giggling whenever she gets a perfect shot and tallying the number in her sketchbook. She draws a detailed, grotesque sad face inside every time she misses or otherwise fails. So far, she has over five thousand tallies and only a single sad face. In fact, the only reason the sad face is there is because she was "aiming for his left eye, but hit the right."

Affraiel: *ticking lists* "..."
Midnight: "What are you doing there?"
Affraiel: "Meh, you know, just ticking off a list of all cliche character archetype in SK RP."
Midnight: "What do we have so far?"
Affraiel: "Let's see here, a psychotic dude who may or may not be nice who looks so feminine that he might as well be a white haired brat? Check. Sniper who can't be stuffed going into honorable, hand to hand, face to face combat? Check. A cyborg wannabe? Check, as if we hadn't had enough of them since Tifa and Mono. Boan was meant be a half cyborg too-"
DJ: *comes in* "And I scrapped that idea thanks to the name change, I think he got a hold of the 'Executor' gun when the condemned RP closed too."
Boan: *screams* "ARGH!!! My arm!!! ARGH!!!"
Affraiel: "What the hell was that?"
DJ: "Boan is practicing with the executor again, now he is suffering for the hundreds of bacteria that died when the muzzle flashed with extreme heat. Poor bastard... he is better off just shelf that thing and never use it again."
Affraiel: "Boy oh boy, doesn't he know that it is always a bad idea to use a weapon gifted by your enemies? Do you even know why the spiral order didn't let me work in the munition factory back on Isora as forced child labor?"
DJ: "I could already vision the dud shells you are going to sneakily make in assistance to the Morai war effort."
Affraiel: "Damn straight... right, for this RP I am thinking about giving the world the most, USELESS, female character of all time! Not even Winter Valentine can match the physical uselessness of this woman!"
DJ: "Okay..."
Affraiel: "BEHOLD!"
Name: Pink-Galaxy
Gender: female (about time)
Age: 19
Gear:
-What you see isw pretty much what you get
4* quick silver helm (Filia is not headshoting her anytime soon.)
Rage Rider Mantle with high heels (cosmetic that should be counted as civilian clothing, no use in combat)
A calibur (self defense, no shield either)
Accessories: Mecha Bow tie (female variant of the mecha vee), Candy Striped Scarf, Mech'tenna, Crest of rage (plastic replica, but still fantastic)
Additional Info:
Pink Galaxy or PG some might call her, was a fairly famous songstress that once dominated the night club across Isora as somewhat of a celebrity. When the war initially broke out, she was the heart and soul to the men on the front line, often giving guest performance at the army camps. But the morale boosting songs will not stop a Tearium bomb (Why not Uranium Thin? Too Micheal Bay for you?), after the once glamorous life in the night club was obliterated, Pink Galaxy fell into a state of depression and utter lunacy. (Let's face it, making PG man up and become a strong independent woman is too cliche.)
After Skylark Fall, life somewhat returned to normal for her when Haven was established and she gets to sing once more. Pink Galaxy is one of those women that would forsake all to live a luxurious life, exploring the clockwork is alien to her and she was horrified of the idea of killing someone, that is only because killing someone can damage her make up. But once in a while, the girl will go on a Safari, because why not? It is not like she will find the core spirit running around killing some random people.

(So the argent arena died ? Anyway i still want to learn a thing or two abour RP so....)
Name: Chael Lux Deutora
Gender: Male
Age : 19
Gear:
Firecracker :
- Even though a bomb was OBVIOUSLY be used on the ground after charging, this knight wait for the fuse and throw it like a hand grenade. It takes time and patience to master this technique, but he perfected it back at isora with daily training.
Coldsnap :
- A backup bomb to use as defensive measure. While the firecracker has the ability to mow down opponent with fire, this bomb was meant to freeze them in place. Chael usualy use this to flee, open an attacking window, or as a support bomb
Punch Gun:
- A gun that has some nice knockback, he use it to keep monsters at bay. It has a troubling recoil, so he can't use it too much.
Cyclops hat :
- The hat actually displays a firing assist. It shows where a bomb would land, and where enemy weakpoint for guns. And it also come with headlight! How cool is that? ( Accessory : Prismatic Knight Vision Google and Prismatic Scarf )
Vitasuit :
- A soothing suit that gives a knight a healthy anount of health boost. It gives a bit of protection and easily ease light wounds, it can't heal a deep wound or a severed limb (That is just ridicoulus) however. Chael edited the suit so it could carry a backpack, which he use to carry bombs and stuff (Mostly bombs), and also a bandoiler, which he also use to carry bombs. (Accessory : Prismatic Vitakit and Proto Crest)
Personal color : Orange (Don't ask where he get those prismatic accesory)
Additional Info:
Back at his day at isora, he is a bomber 'Guardian'. Using bombs to protect his squad and heavy gears too keep enemies at bay. He was one of the few bomber who would dare to go face to face againts his enemy, rather then waiting for them to come to a trap and blow up. Once on a fight, he used an icy bomb at his palm directly to a morai soldier's face. It froze his left arm and the opponent's head (Which he severed with a punch of his right hand). The medic team spent hours thawing his hand after, which earned him a nickname called 'Reckless' by his squardon.
After surviving the tearium bomb blast, most of his allies are dead. At that point he doesn't have a reason to live any longer. The morai are winning, and their race are on the brink of death. Chael joined the spiral order for another chance, a chance to find another reason to continue living. He needs it, or he would break... Or worst, turns crazy.

Well, Machinauts is still fun and all, but I think I'll want to join something less stat-based as well.
Unfortunately, Aquilon Company went down(so far...) so I think I'll transfer my char to here.Add some varierity to this ground-bound team. That is, assuming youre okay with a valkyrie joining in:
Name: Mundy Vakarian
Male, age of 21.
Gear: Padded Helm and Armor.
-An old Magnus rigged with a reflex scope. The damn scrap metal can only hold one bullet at a time, but the shots are realy silent.Go figure, a gun this old recovered from some hobo gunslinger in the middle of Isora's biggest warzone should be this wierd.
-Static Flash
-No shield.
Assessory: Binoculars(Heavy) with thermal and night vision to scoop up on following terrain, and two Intel Tubes(Dusky) to carry any important info found down in the Clockworks.
Backstory:
Being a Valkyrie, it would be expected from him to either become some priest warrior or be prey to the Fallen's Uprising that was storming Isora (amongst other threats). He became neither, as the promise of a new future (or any future at all) posed by the Spiral Order drew his mother and him into the Skylark's voyage.
Also dissimilar to most valkiryes his wings are rather weak, barely able to hover in the air.The only use he's been making of them is gliding, wich proves useful while diving into the clockworks, but has affected his confidence.Being one of a rare kind in the middle of outer space is already odd, but also being a weak one of its kind is dismotivating.
Regardless of that, he knows a lot about a lot of things, from martial arts trough covert-ops to arms repair.None of those came from official rankng tough, since his lacking profile has hindered progress trough the young Order.Theres no qualification other than common sense if his knowledge will suffice against the dangers of Cradle.

@Midnight-Dj: Not accepted.
@Spirals-Ore: I've taken an interest in your character. Allow me to tweak him a little.
- Iron Buckler: A normal-resistant shield offering Bomb Damage Bonus: Medium. Possesses UV Stun Resistance: Max
- Headlamp: You said it had a headlamp. Now it has one. ;)
- Vented Visor: Replaces the Cyclops Eye. A spectral analyzer allowing Chael to perceive the composition of any material on the battlefield, particularly bombs. A skilled user can detect weak points with it. Programmed with fire-assist software granting Chael the ability to see where his attacks would land.
@Magmaul-Ace: I'm giving you a Swiftstrike Buckler. You're not obliged to use it, but it's there if you want it. Being a buckler, it's mounted on your left arm (not your left hand) and frees up your left hand to help hold the Magnus.

@RP
I'll be watching this one. Let's see if it can make it past the apparent RP-interest Cap. Good luck, m8s.

Thank you Ember-Break. We appreciate it.

Please stop using greek letters in your in-game posts. I can't think of a faster way to get yourself booted from the game. One more post like that, and you're out.

I don't feel that you, as a player, are a good fit for our game.

@MDJ you are not exactly the cleanest or nicest person here. But if i had a fanfic thing like this i probably would have let you in anyway lol. but it may be, 1: Your character's name needs to be a real name or a name fitting, but you can put Pink-Galaxy as her nickname. 2: i think we have no choice but to battle monsters. And your person EXTREMELY doesn't like monsters. (Just trying to help.)

you are not exactly the cleanest or nicest person here.
Well, it is really not my fault that Thin slayer is repeating using the same character archetype, you can't simply expect me to play PG and let her walk clueless into a trap that is seen coming from miles away. If Thin wants to practice his writing skills, why not write a character so convincing that I will follow the story along.
Your character's name needs to be a real name or a name fitting,
Yes, because calling your self Cherub, a Greek Deity is totally okay.
And your person EXTREMELY doesn't like monsters.
The grammatical errors in that sentence, boy oh boy... but I think you forgot what Thin slayer said at the intro of the discussion:
This game is going to be a freeform sandbox game. There will be missions, of course, but you're not obliged to perform them. Players will be responsible for creating the Clockworks as they explore it, as well as populating it with whatever monsters they feel like, since I don't have the time or energy to do all that for you. ~Thinslayer
So in another word, I can simply make the journey of Pink Galaxy hilarious as she bog down random knights, flirt them in the worst situation and just be generally useless in combat.

Yeesh sorry, i was just trying to help and figure out why Thinslayer didn't let you in his RP.

Well, it is really not my fault that Thinslayer [makes boring characters]
If my faulty characters are causing you to play the way you do, then you're more gullible than I thought. I had no idea I had such power over other people.
The grammatical errors in that sentence, boy oh boy
Liminori already got on his case for that. I'm as aware of them as you are. I'm not interested in denigrating other players, especially in so cheap and dishonorable a way as criticizing his grammer.
You don't play well with others, Midnight. You think too highly of yourself, and when your qualities are challenged, you blame others, just like you did to me in post #30. And for goodness sake, keep your problems with me restricted to out-of-game areas! Maybe all my characters are just Gwen in disguise, but the very worst thing you can do is to address it in-game. That's totally not cool.

• Skylark Tactical Intelligence - Skyla
○ ♀
• Endoskeleton, Exoskeleton, Wolver Coat, (Cutter):Falchion, Scarlet Shield, Inbuilt Tech Glasses that when fully charged, show an enemy's weak spot. Side Vents (The cat ear acessory).
○ Additional Info:
Red Personal Color
Skyla was the Skylark's old Tactical Intelligence inbuilt to the system- But Ephis saw a use for STI where the others didn't- It's incredible memory, processing, and logic used for battle tactics still had space left- So Ephis reprogrammed the empty space over time to be more human, Secretly building a shell for Skyla, as he dubbed her- As to prevent confusion as to who she was later on.
Skyla is a bit of a Tomboy, sporting a spicy personality to back her up.
Skyla was released from the Skylark during the (Landing/Crash), so only those who had acess to the files would know about Skyla.
Since Kora is the Main Intel Agent, she would probably have told Ozlo.
Skyla is a bit of a chance taker, seeing as she currently does not have a shield.
STI is the title for more formal people, or people who do not recognise Skyla as a being with emotions, While Skyla is for the other.
-
EDIT: Suggestion; How about we have Midnight as the (Or one of) the Antagonists?

I'm liking your character. She'll work.
I already have a few main antagonists set up. I need high-quality villains, the kind that can really drive the story. But as story-driving is more GM territory, the position isn't open to other players. That's not to say you can't become villains of your own, but you'll need to develop them on your own, instead of having them built into the main plot.

"Liminori already got on his case for that." not trying to start a fight, but i don't remember when that happened. not saying it didn't happen though. Also sorry if my grammar is not good, i should focus on that more so i am more clear.
@Liminori That sounds like a good plan to me. Also nice character.

My bad, I was thinking of Spirals-Ore in the Argent Arena.
Yeah, your grammar could use some improvement. It's actually not too bad; it just looks bad because there's little capitalization.
EDIT: Yes, you actually seem to have a pretty good grasp of English. Aside from a couple spelling errors ('sheild' should be 'shield,' 'monicle' should be 'monacle') and sloppy capitalization, there's not much else wrong with your writing. Most of your spelling is on-point, your punctuation and apostrophes are properly placed, and we can understand your words easily. I think it's just that the random capitalization makes you seem less capable than you are.
And while your story posts are rather brief, they are surprisingly evokative. You have potential. :D

Pardon me while I look through all the posts, like I should have done in the first place.
Edit: Filia is a ticking time bomb, unstable emotions and everything. Oh dear...

You sort of ignored Tor introducing himself to Cherub, should I just edit it out?

Dang, did I? I was meaning to reply to that. My bad. Gimme a minute.
EDIT: Done. Sorry about that.

((There appears to be an argument. Well, in my experience, the best way to resolve an argument is-
Ragnir: "-A SEA SHANTY! C'mon! "))
Name: Ragnir
Gender: Male
Gear:
-Iceberg Hammer (2* 'Sword', Normal Damage, Slight chance of Freeze): "Some Knights like regular swords. Some Knights like big swords that are more like hammers. A select number of knights prefer to just cut out the middleman and bring a hammer." (Potential to upgrade to 5* North Pole)
-Plateau (2* 'Sword', Normal Damage): "A middling mace made from mountains to mash monsters most mightily." (Potential to upgrade to 5* Precipice)
-Dragon of Timber (2* 'Gun', Piercing Damage): "A crossbow made in the shape of a mighty dragon. It isn't quite as fast as a gun, but its Driftwood frame and some mechanical augmentation put a lot of force behind each shot." (Potential to upgrade to 5* Roaring Arbalest)
-Furs of the North (2* Armor, Normal/Elemental Defense, Freeze Resistance, Sword Attack Speed Increase: Low) and Howlin' Helm (2* Helm, Normal/Piercing Defense, Stun Resistance, Sword Charge Time Reduction: Low)
-Studded Driftwood Shield (2* Shield, Normal/Piercing Defense)
How it all works:
-Ragnir's Iceberg hammer hits hard initially, but its two-foot-wide sledge of solid ice cracks and wears down with extended use (starts weakening at ~50 swings, about 200 swings before being nigh-useless), and requires time in a special holster that restores it to its former glory! This process takes a maximum of fifteen minutes. The Iceberg Hammer's charge attack uses up around five swings' worth of durability to deal massive damage to anything unfortunate enough to be underneath it and deploy a small icy haze, with three-fourths of the diameter of a Freezing Vaporizer explosion. Ragnir uses his Iceberg Hammer at the beginning of a melee, unless he faces an opponent that benefits from being hit with Freeze effects.
-Plateau is what D&D would call a "Heavy Mace", which pretty well translates to "Medium-ish weapon". It usually has a four-swing combo, but at any time in the first three swings, Plateau can easily whip around and hit an enemy behind the wielder; Plateau's Charge Attack launches four to six rocks off in random directions, gaining more rocks per smash. Ragnir uses Plateau as a reserve melee weapon, in case his Hammer is too broken down to be effective, or if he needs to hit and run.
-Dragon of Timber is a single-shot ranged weapon with a lot of oomph behind each shot, but also quite the reload time. Its Charge Attack takes even longer to reload after due to also having to reset the mechanisms inside the bow, but makes up for this with almost double damage. Ragnir doesn't use it often in the middle of battle, but before a battle begins, Ragnir prefers to gain the advantage by unloading a bolt from the Dragon, usually at a priority target. Ragnir also uses it for surprise attacks, or just for getting the attention of foes that are far away.
-Ragnir's armor, a set of furs and a wolf-eared medium helmet, is easy to move around in, aiding him somewhat in close combat. Its defenses, however, could be better; for this reason, Ragnir takes an old shield that's been passed down through his family line. Ragnir restored this shield when he joined the Spiral Order, boosting its power with the Order's technology.
Additional Info: Long ago, the Isoran army clashed with space pirates above Brumava, a planet of mountains, glaciers, and ice-cold oceans. The pirates fought, but they were no match for the guns of the Isorans. Only then did the Isorans realize that there was life on Brumava. The pirates, finding the large amounts of silver and iron with mineral radar, had been stealing from the less tech-savvy natives of the planet, blasting away whoever opposed them. The Isorans took a different approach.
By the light of a fire made from a crashed space pirate vessel, an Isoran magistrate made allies and established trade routes with the leaders of Brumava's governments. Some of its finest warriors pledged loyalty to the Isoran cause, first out of gratitude, then, eventually, out of friendship.
Ragnir is one of the descendants of these warriors. A Spiral Order Squire with the battle-trappings of a Brumavan Warrior, his style of combat is a strange combination of Isoran discipline and Brumavan valor. Ragnir is usually in high spirits, and is eager to live up to his ancestors' legacy. He has no patience for those that are very quick to judge, though he does what he can to rein this in with the authorities (because that's kinda their job). Ragnir's a bit rash, but he's not stupid- he'll listen to a plan when one is being made.
((EDIT: Added some more personality info.))

AH SHOOT I FORGOT THE CHERUB'S RAIMENT EXISTED
Man, does it look fine!
Anywho, time to join!
Name: Titan
Gender: M
Gear:
- 0* Titan's Suit
2* Titan's Guns
Accessories:
How it Works:
- 0* Titan's Suit: A white 0* stripped-down Jelly Suit offering only a tight, maneuverable body suit with none of the padding. It stretches above the neck, covering the mouth, and comes with white fingerless gloves. It's been modified to be more modest, adding a white hooded jacket only half the torso length and unbuttoned. It gives the wearer a Movement Speed Boost: Medium while wearing it, but offers less protection even moreso than standard Proto Gear. It is bright so that it may attract more enemies to fight.
2* Titan's Gloves: Multiple melee attack with 10 hits, 5 swings, dealing 2 hits with each swing(based off the Cutter). The second hit per swing is delt by string trailing from string shooters along his knuckles. The charge attack includes a 2-hand clap laying down a trap that, when stepped on, (Freezes)holds the target in place.
3* Swiftstrike Buckler: This greatly increases Titan's attack speed rather than used for his own defensive betterment.
Additional Info:
Titan has been the odd one out. During younger years, he had more friends, but as times got worse and the war ravaged the land, they had to give up on him. But Titan never gave up on them, causing him to get hung up about his ever-receding life. Years later, when he heard that both sides had made the discovery of a new radical reactor, he nearly lost his mind trying to think of a way out. But his mother found a way out first.
When she heard of the escaping ships taking people in large Exodus, she didn't inform her 16 year-old son, and made attempts to hide it from him. When they were driving to the military base however, he knew something was up. He frantically asked her what she planned to do, and she told him, "I need you to leave."
Sent into a frenzy, he continued to interrogate his mother, asking and persisting on why this happened, why would she do this. But driven up to a military officer and requesting he withdraw her son, Titan noticed a shotgun in the backseat. What a sweet old woman his mother had come to be, but this was her plan? Her way of going out like dad? As he was removed from the car, he saw her reach in the backseat, and then...
She could not have survived in the New World. Simulation after simulation on that damned ship taught him as much, as he fought holographic monsters, finding weaknesses in their AI and their programming, he began sleeping more and more. Dreaming, of a burning light, and a thousand black arms reaching from its center. And he wanted to go there...
When they arrived on Cradle, his skill multiplied by ten, but his sleeping hours became longer, requiring 13 hours to sleep. He never volunteered on the Alpha Squad because of his low rank, and high sleep hour count. His rank never ascended because he was always wandering off on his own, doing his own thing in the Clockworks. He felt connected to it somehow, like a new family was here for him to find. As such, when speaking, he will often talk with a strange cadence, like a machine. However, he has a friendly enough demeanor, just requires less words.

That reminds me, I wanted to add in some gear for Tor. I was thinking something along the line of gauntlets that change element depending on what variation of the brandish he's using, and infrared goggles with a camera in them?

Don't mean to be rude, but I think you're gonna have to close the applications soon, because theres a LOT of people joining in, and it might hinder the narrative. I mean, you plan on making this a "sandbox" type of experience, so more players could make this uncontrolable.
Unless you have a whole system of partners to help you, of course.

Also, I dont think we'll have to leave our chars all pumped up for this. If what Thin says holds true, we will be able to make our own gear as the story goes.

•Name: Jason Mitid

Proto Bomb
Small Wooden Lute
•Additional Info: Jason originally had grown up with a dream of fighting along the Isorans as a swordsman. However, his plan quickly went downhill as he repeatedly lost and failed any sword training lessons he took. Because of this fact, his fellow trainees had always made fun of him. He slowly became more and more depressed, and started to interact with others less and less. He decided to make a change to becoming a gunner so that he could be far away from the other trainees. He was actually quite good, and he became more and more adept at gunnery. Despite this, the teasing never stopped from his trainees. Whenever something bad happened, he was always blamed, and so over time he always thought everything was his fault, and that he was terrible at everything. Wanting to have a new life, he joined the Knights and ran away from the Morai. Despite this, he quickly found himself at the end of everyone on the ships jokes. After heavily debating suicide as an option, he quickly got rid of his sword and started using a gun. Whenever Jason was around someone who he considered a friend, he would always hide his depression behind weak smiles and jokes.
One of his side hobbies is music.

All character apps are accepted.
I think I'll take Magmaul-Ace's advice and close apps now.
