Currently I use a mac at version OS X 10.9.3 with java SE 8 newest version.

I'm trying to log in with my steam account or bind an account to steam, but 1. I can't convert my account to steam and 2. I don't get the use steam account checkbox.

Apparently java preferences in java 8 doesn't have the option of preferring java 5, so that isn't an option.

But as for converting my account to steam:
"Start Spiral Knights from Steam. Click on the Back button in the lower left corner or hit ESC and click on the "Logoff" button. You should get a login popup like this where you can click on the "Options" button in the middle.

Click on the "Prompts" tab in the Options popup and make sure there is an X next to the option that you are looking for."
The option doesn't seem to be there anymore.
