Shield Mechanics

Ok, i'm not exactly a new recruit, but as this is a learning topic I thought it would be best to put here. I have some shield mechanics down like the shield charge move, dashing, and shield bumping against PvE type enemies.... but I've heard of other mechanics like some type of cancelling that helps you shield faster I think in the middle of attacking, and i'm just not sure what else I can do or how I could master doing something like that. Any tips would be greatly appreciated on any and all shield mechanics.
Thanks,
Zekro

hey thanks, that sounds pretty good. I will check it out, and still, if any other tips happen to pop up, that's much appreciated too :)

if you need any other help, don't be afraid to msg me :3 I'd love to help you as I've gotten all those mechanics down.

Only thing I can mention that isn't in the shieldbearer guide is that shield bump power is based on star level. So proto shield has no bump ability, swiftstrike has less and 5* shields have the usual 5* amount.
Have you read the Shieldbearer Guide on the wiki? It's not great, but it covers shield canceling for example.
You might also search YouTube. Players have posted demos of stuff like switch-shooting, so maybe there are shielding tutorials too.
