Why is there so much empty space on the battle sprite screen? Is there some kind of battle sprite booster that lets me use more of something (maybe perks)? Will I unlock more perks later to fill those places?

it's like
There used to be a gap, kind of like that, between armor and weapons in the character screen. But now there isn't. That's all I know.

the character equip screen has 9 slots so they just reused it for the sprite screen.
Where on the battle sprite user interface is this extra space?
Maybe the developers didn't have time to polish the user interface. Or maybe they wanted to leave space to expand.
