Even though it's been a while since the last big depot flash sale session, the game needed an AH sale, not this. Not like that would be a permanent fix, but this is just... the market is weeping chroma tears, and that doesn't need to happen. Perhaps we can look forward to AH sales during the December holidays? I realize this is a Cyber Monday tradition of sorts, but...yeah...
That being said, I really hope to see ridiculously rare items such as the Wings of Rage/Frenzy, (EDIT: frenzy sealed pauldrons of course), and Wind-up Keys, for any type of sale. I will shed a few more tears if this does not occur.

The people who don't want to grind jelly king for advance/elites when they still want radiants for forging 5 star would like to have a word with you. From personal marketing statistics, rarities can often outpace energy market sales in crowns per hour if properly price matched against ce prices.
Sure you don't "need", unless of course you'd like to shorten the length of time farming, which has already been extended by dubious past updates. You don't "need" to play the game, and you don't "need" to advance in the game in a timely manner at all.
I'm just grabbing a bucket of popcorn waiting for company policy to self-destruct the playerbase slowly over time.

Why would you not welcome an excuse to go grind for tier 2 orbs? Grinding for radiant fire crystals gets dull pretty quickly, especially when there's no one else farming it with you and tier 2 is welcoming because there are lots of fun and happy players there. Half the time I log on and just go straight for the T2/mediocre T3 gates that give me nothing, ignoring all semblance of rewards.
There are far more important issues in Spiral Knights right now anyway, like the complete lack of pizzas. Seriously, go find that thread in the suggestions forums. It's way better than raging about the energy market I tried it.
