What would you play all 28 levels with?

In the days of olde, before loadouts came into existence, knights had no choice but to play an entire strata with the same gear. Knights of lesser wealth who could afford neither trinkets not extra weapon slots, were forced to assemble an optimum balance of weapons and armor to vanquish all monsters. Some – a few brave & bold warriors – would dare all 28 levels with the same gear.
If ye wouldst dare to challenge a gate in its entirety with but two weapons and one set of helm, armor, and shield, what would it be?
For a sword, I’d go with my trusty Combuster. It does a good bit of regular damage, decent swing speed and gets bonus damage from a charged fire stroke.
I’d want a gun, too, and I’d use the Wildfire for knockback and extra fire damage.
For armor, I’d use Radiant Silvermail which has both pierce and shadow defense and bonus against Undead.
My held would be a Dragon Scale for both pierce and elemental defense and a high fire resistance and bonus damage against beasts.
My all-purpose gear is usually Vog and Skolver, but I avoid shadow realms when using this gear.
So, what would you play all 28 levels with? (no trinket or extra weapon slots)

I'd go with Acheron and Valiance as well, maybe Arcana instead, depends on what kind of depths there will be.
BTS for the shield though. Maybe BKC and one other item depending on the levels, to offset the status weakness (especially if going through the IMF/FSC gates)

The nearly correct answer would be the infamous iron slug + electron vortex loadout, with some degree of chaos/black kat/seerus backing it up, pending on how good your UVs are. The only thing that would really stop it would be Vanaduke, but he's a small price to pay for incredible efficiency on the majority of mobs and even bosses.

Divine Veil, Skolver Coat, Combuster, Acheron, Barbarous Thorn Shield. I'd probably use Argent instead of Combuster, but I don't have one yet.

Since I'm (semi) old school, Voltedge+Valiance+Chaos+Ancient Plate Shield, for me. And can we ban rare/event items from this? Because if you can afford a BKC or Crimson Hammer, you can definitely afford the extra slots.
P.S: If I was actually playing the game in the state it was when there were no arsenal stations (aka with pre-buff brandishes and Chaos, and before SL gear), I'd probably pick something like DA, BTB, Skolver and Valiance or Sentenza.

algorithms are the solutions to any problem.
my old, old loadout was polaris, DVS, salamander helm, valkyrie mail and BTS. I did everything but vana with this loadout.
right now I would most probably go for supernova and suda, with mercurial helm, nameless poncho and CoA.

Depends. If I want to go with safety I'd likely bring magma driver + leviathan blade and radiant silvermail + divine veil, paired with a grey owlite shield and an elemental damage seraphynx with healthy boost.
If I want to go with efficiency I'd probably take acheron + arcana, full black kat paired with omegaward and a shadow damage drakon with swift steps.
If I wanted to go with straight up fun I'd likely go with DVS + iron slug, PMoS + black kat raiment with really any shield paired with any sprite really. Swift steps is fun but I could go for something else in this case.
I mean a while back I ran a full elite arcade in valkyrie + grey owlite shield with only normal damage weapons, but I had all slots at that point. Was a whole lot of fun but at this point I've become so accustomed to black kat's movement speed I don't know if I could adjust all that quickly, especially if I don't have MSI from my sprite either.

I loved the old days without the arsenal stations :3 (sorta)
not counting UV's and just pure set and experience of all enemies [especially with fiends, devilites work for me ;)]
Chaos set (its a thing)
Swiftstrike (I don't recall the last time i used a different shield tbh)
Combuster (Yeah, its not perfect for gremlins and wolvers but iron slug takes care of gremlins and wolvers are easy to smack to death.
Iron Slug(everything else)/Blitz(if Vana is Stratum 6 of the gate.)
I've used this set before numerous times when i was too lazy to buy slot upgrades.
I Only lose my emergency revive or die more if i derp or happen to have a bad connection
you really just have to master how enemy ai works, and learn how to make fun of it and mock it.
thank you Mawashimono for making this thread, it really gives insight and may even help new players along the way with figuring out what gear they should use but dont feel like investing in slot upgrades yet. it's nice to see you still around, Dragon Princess, if im not mistaken.

these are all items that i own so ill stick in the UVs, all items are at max level
mercurial demo suit (fire max, freeze low)
perfect mask of seerus (poison med, shock low)
volcanic maskeraith (it fits the red costume I would use)(swift steps II, vengeful quills, vengeful shadow cloak, chaotic haze)
grand tortoise (pierce med)
iron slug (ctr med)
grand tortofist (ctr med)
if I had four weapon slots I would use the loadout that I made exactly for this
same armor, helm, sprite, and shield
neutralizer (ctr med)

Anyway. Chaos set, Acheron, Valiance, and maybe my Omega Shell or Gorgomega. Never do anything long-winded without a Valiance handy. ;-)
