Monster Cage crown sinks
Guild Hall Furnishings are sweet, right? Pets, even more so. So what I'm proposing is a Monster Cage item that costs about as much as a Curious Mewkat during a Flash sale. It's meant to be a group-funded project, as with every other Hall furnishing.
Y'all ever play Pokémon? Heck, who am I kidding; there's no way you haven't heard of the capture system.
Basically, this Monster Cage would be a throwable item, much like a Pot or Vial. Upon striking a monster with, say, half HP or less, it would have a chance to "capture" that monster, instantly 'killing' it, but dropping a "Caged _____" Guild Furnishing where the monster was hit. The monster could be placed as a Hall Furnishing, using either a Wandering or Resting AI. They would have no collision with players except when Resting, and the two could be switched at will in Design Mode.
Obviously, this wouldn't work on bosses, Swarm enemies, or Npc Knights. However; Drones, Wheel Launchers, Souls, and Battlepods would have different effects.
Drones would stay in one place, with both Shankles and Wisps being interactable and having collisions. Shankles would peek up when interacted with, and Wisps would utter their signature laugh, retracting and re-extending their spikes.
Wheel Launchers would have no collisions unless enabled in design mode, and when interacted with would launch a wheel able to push players but not damage them. Their size would be reduced. The wheel would invariably shatter before it went outside the Guild Hall entrance to prevent griefing.
Battlepods would be 3x3, and always have collisions. They could be set to "open" or "closed" in design mode, which would open or close the mouth of the battlepod.
Souls would wander a set radius, clipping through walls if necessary. Occasionally disappearing, they would respawn in a short period of time afterward. Upon a player entering the radius, the Soul would gravitate toward said player and "stick" to them similarly to how they used to do in Heart of Ice with only one player. Souls can only be caught with a Cage while above a walkable floor.
The Cage would return to the player's inventory if it didn't strike a monster. Certain levels such as Unknown Passages would not allow the player to throw a cage.
