I installed Spiral Knights yesterday by referral of my friends and because it was free to play through Steam. I played a few levels fine and fell in love with it. My problem is after some time of play, the floors became invisible. I could see backgrounds like leaves and the faded out machines in the background and stuff, and I can also see things like thorns, boxes, monsters, buttons, spike pads, etc. All characters are visible too. I however can NOT see the floors themselves or the lifts (although once I step on the lifts I can see them). This only occurs when I'm on level where fighting takes place. In Haven and rest areas between battle levels, I can see the floors fine. For a while I just used my mini map and my friends for direction and guidance but eventually it got to the point where I would be positioned in a way that it looked like I was UNDER everything and I would have to angle myself in obnoxious ways in order to fight or pick things up, making just getting to the monster 10 times more difficult than actually fighting it. I really like Spiral Knights a lot and I would LOVE for this problem to be fixed so that I can keep playing it with my friends. But as it stands, I can't play at all. It frustrates me too much.
