Whenever i shield before the enemy hits me i still end up taking damage from the attack. does anyone have any way to fix that because i have the quality turned down to low.

definitely lag
Its not a bug, the only fixes that can be made are better servers or more optimization on your end
Happens quite often btw. Optimisation needed.
