What exactly does this option allow others to see? Just wondering...
Allow full inspect?
Does it show your achievements and your arsenal?
This should really be turned on by default!
I'd like it if it at least remembered your setting for it the next time you logged in, so I didn't have to keep turning it on.
I don't understand why it's off by default, or even why gear has any reason to be hidden.
The reason for being hidden will have purposes when PVP will come out.
You will then be able to cover your real armor/UV's behind costume just before the fight.
thats my guess... we'll get many abuses ^.^
I think it's good that it's off by default. Any option to reveal data, whether in SK or in any social network, ought to be an opt-in mechanism, so that you are never sharing data without your explicitly wanting to.
However, whatever data-sharing options we choose ought to persist from session to session. "Allow Full Inspect" RESETS to off every time I log in or alter my equipment, and that's annoying.
I've been bug reporting it now and again. I'm hoping the devs will address this soon, either by fixing the bug or telling us why they think it's a feature.
You can't hide behind a costume, if you have a costume on it shows your base armor. It only shows your costume armor on inspect if you have full inspect marked. The only stuff you can really hope to hide is your weapons and trinkets.
Regardless, does "allow full inspect" mean they see the two weapons you are currently using, or does it mean they see your entire arsenal?
Full Inspect allows people to see what armors you have equipped [costume or otherwise], what weapons you have equipped, trinkets equipped, and current shield. it doesn't allow people to see your full arsenal, just what you see when you hit the 'view self' button right next to the arsenal button on the UI (can't for the life of me recall what the game calls it.)
Not Full Inspect just shows what actual armor you have equipped and nothing more. Does not show costume armor.
Add another one for sticky-ing the box, it really does get annoying turning it back on every time i log in.
By the way, PvP modes forbid costume armor except in the very highest "difficulty" mode. That's how it worked in the Preview's Super Brawl anyway.
Trinkets, all equipped weapons, what you've got under your armor costume etc.
You're lucky it doesn't show what's under the armor...
