We all know that bombs are underpowered, correct? I mean, their only attack is a charge attack which takes about 2 seconds from when your cursor is held, and you can't even shield during the charge time. This makes it extremely hard to use bombs properly, as many chances will disappear because there's a lot longer time to attack.
No, I'm not suggesting we remove the charge time. Yes, I know that the fact that you could basic attack with bombs earlier made it OP (from what I've heard).
What I AM suggesting, though, is that the charge time starts right when you place down a bomb (or when you start), and the charge time holds until you either switch weapons (however the time of the charge will transfer over to the next bomb ex: you charge 2 seconds and switch bombs. the next bomb already is charged 2 seconds and will continue from there) or place down the bomb by clicking (not holding). Then it starts charging again.
It's not nearly as OP as before OOO made it underpowered, but it's also making it better and almost equal to swords and guns.
Another thing that should be considered: make ASI (attack speed increase) speed up the actual bomb blowing up, like after you put it down. Because it's the placing animation that's faster when you have it, ASI only goes towards swords and guns.
As someone who is doing a knight using bombs (stuck at a battlepod), I feel like explosives' basic use is not enough to keep up with firearms or blades.
