Yeah, yeah, i know, another one of these. I got too much time on my hands~
First idea, a slime cube bomb.
You know how the slime cubes usually attack, by rotating their body? Imagine a bomb that when explodes, a giant slime cube appears, doing its rotating slam, dealing good damage and pushing enemies away. This bomb would have its knockback as its main feature.
Second idea, another bomb. Lichen orb bomb. After the circle fills up, there's no explosion. Instead, giant lichen colony-like spikes come out of the ground.
Third idea. A bow. It could have fire, it could have poison.
Normal attacks: 2 hits. First is a point blank range swipe, designed to push enemies back a bit, second hit is a quick arrow shot that could also move you back a little (for dodging purposes).
Charge attack: Charges as fast as the catalyzer. Shoots forth an arrow that does very good damage, maybe pushes enemy slightly. At 4 stars, it could pierce through the first target to hit the second. At 5, it could pierce the second target to hit a third (if they are in a straight line, of course). The main thing about the bow is the fact that you are supposed to mainly use the charge attack, as that is the main damage dealer.
As i said at the start, there could be a fire version or a poison one (don't want freeze cuz it could be a bit too spammable to lock a target forever). But there could also be a version that has no status, but instead shoots 3-5 arrows in a wide arc with the charge attack (but charges slower) while the normal attacks deal more damage too. And for balance, the piercing effect could stop at 2, perhaps?
