Title says most of it. A Ranged weapon that fires two shots, much like the Alchemer line. Pure Normal damage, no status, moderate in actual damage numbers (less than Nova Driver)
Here's where it gets interesting.
The initial shots of the Scattergun are the same material as the Equinox armors' basic skin, giving off a blue light. Upon dissipating, either by hitting something or vanishing on their own, the shots leave behind a scattering of blue points of light compounded with a dust cloud that fades away in a moderate amount of time.
These blue light points that appear in the wake of the initial shot are "stardust" particles, and are damaging to enemies that touch them. They possess homing capabilities, and will slowly drift toward the nearest enemy. However, they fade out after a short distance, thereby preventing lag from too many on the screen at once. The stardust particles possess no flinch or knockback capabilities.
GUN: APPEARANCE AND CHARACTERISTICS
-Alchemer reskin/alchemy path
-Modeled in the same style as Equinox equipment
-Clip size of two shots
-Shots have no ricochet/splitting abilities
STARDUST CLOUD: APPEARANCE AND CHARACTERISTICS
-Forms after the main shot has dissipated
-Consists of 7-9 stardust particles per cloud
-Forms (cosmetic) grey dust-cloud particle upon initial shot dissipation that fades away in ~3sec
-Stardust particles target the nearest enemy and attempt to make contact, dealing minor damage repetitively
-Stardust particles leave behind a blue Final Flourish trail as they move.
-Stardust particles have a slow movement speed, about half that of a charged Catalyzer shot.
-Stardust clouds fade away in around 10 seconds, and do not cause invincitinks to enemies
-I'd like to stress that second part again.
-And a third time.
-Stardust clouds that can be present at once number 5 per gun
-Stardust clouds that exceed this limit will replace others already present.
-Stardust particles deal Normal damage, and do not cause knockback or flinch to enemies.
