As I roam within the Clockworks, fighting, chasing after all that stood in my way. As I was within the Wolvers Den, I saw a garden with snipes frolicking, having statues with strange faces, that was when I saw him. A Stranger I have never seen before, I confronted him in a casual manner, putting away my weapons and cleaning the blood off my armor. They said before I approached, "An adventurer, I never thought I would come across one in these parts, I am Karees." I walked forward, limping, wanting to rest in this peaceful garden. "Don't." Karees says, "This is sacred ground to the Snipes." I was not angry, if I can stand against an army of monsters, then I can stand long enough for a talk with this Stranger. "Would you like to hear a tale? A tale of paradise for monsters." I was curious, and interested with what Karees had in store for me. "A long time ago, around 1000 years ago, there was a war. A great battle between the two powers of light and darkness, known as The War of Retribution. This was not just any war between land dwellers, but between two beings of the sky, possessing blades of ultimate power. There was a land dweller, a smith, learned from the greatest, of the great Owlite Academy of great magical advancements for the good of cradle. Using their abilities to forge a sword of all elements and armor of iron, possessing the third eye. Having a hooded knight, also known as "The Sage" with the same feelings of justice as the smith, being the user of the equipment to counter the Celestial Beings. At the very end, the light and dark entities were sealed within their own blades, though the cost of The Sage to seal them, would cost their life as well, sealing themselves within the sword of all elements. As the great conflict ended, the skies weren't so dark anymore, the fake sun was shining once again to the land, and the smith took all three blades holding the three souls to locations that not anyone or anything can find them." As I was listening to Karees of the swords being put away, I was more curious to where the sword of all elements has been put away. "The sword that The Sage is within you ask? Ill be getting to that." as Karees said that, he sounded excited to tell. "The blade of pure elements, was taken somewhere unknown, a realm of great hazard but at the same time its peaceful...the smith said, you must be lost to find this world. A world of all elements itself, mountains of ice, lightning surging into the skies, trees with flames for leafs, poisonous clouds with acid rain, patches of grass for good sleep, pillars which can stun you with just the slightest touch, and rivers of curse, swimming in it wouldn't be smart. The sword ended up causing the land to not be as hazardous to monsters than knights, as it gave a feel of tranquility to them, some monsters said that they even hear a voice, a gentle one that calls to them to be lost. As monsters become "lost" they will find this paradise. Monsters of all kinds are within this realm, even the rarest, ancient, and new species still yet to be discovered. There is one creature that guards the blade from all, no matter who or what it is. The Salamander of Mystery. It cherishes the blade, as if it was its own, protecting it for the paradises peaceful state. The smith, as he witnessed this guardian, seeing as if this Salamander communicates to the blade, as if The Sage is still there, being its only friend. As I roam the Clockworks, I still hear monsters chatting about this myth, they always ask "What does it mean by being "Lost"?" maybe its not something to truly think about...more of something that just happens, maybe it has more meaning behind it." As Karees finished their story, I moved ahead to the elevator, but then I got stopped. "Where will you go? Do you plan to find it?" Karees was very curious as he asked me their question. "Yes. That is what "we" do. As the best of the Spiral Order, "we" must go down the deepest depths, the abyss, and the unknown realms within the Clockworks. Till the bitter end."
