So as we all know, the end game of spiral knights pretty much turns into making your character as fabulous as possible, with many types of boxes to offer different cosmetics for everyone. the only issue is that players are pretty much limited to sticking with costumes that match whatever their player color is, otherwise they would have to shell out around 50K crowns just to change to color to fit with some other cosmetic set they have. This limits players on wanting to get cosmetics of a specific type, leaving boxes that contain color styles such as the volcanic boxes pointless for players who dont have a player color that goes well with said color style.

Having an alternative option to buy some kind of equipable color/height modifier would allow players to change their entire look on the fly with loadouts, opening so many more options for cosmetics. say I want a shock themed look to use with my Voltedge and Polaris for example, wearing a set of armor that matches the colorization of those two weapons when I have say, a purple or green personal color doesn't blend together very well. But if we had an item to change our personal colors whenever we want, I could easily swap to a blue personal color for that set, and back to purple or green whenever I'm using my other set of gear. Without this option theres very little point in purchasing cosmetics and boxes that would contain color themes like surge, meaning this change would make more people willing to pay for even more different cosmetic pieces as they have more freedom with customization.

I'd personally say the purchase value of the equipable colors should be somewhat high so that the one use changers could still have some point (If a player just wants to run one color but didnt pick it initially and doesn't want to spend an insane amount for it), meaning I'd say either 500K in crowns or about 5K energy to unlock one permanent personal color change equipable.

I feel like this is a thing that would definitely help improve the cosmetics economy in the game and would definitely get some more people to purchase boxes for different color themes, overall making the game healthier.
