(( Hello, this is a little fic that I am currently writing... I don't know if it is good or bad since I never really write a lot. But I mgiht as well give it a try and learn things on the way. Feel free to criticise. Anyway, this fic won't have a lot of things going each post, but more will be coming once I can type more. Anyway, just tell me what's wrong with it for now :P ))
I can almost hear the twisted crying.
I can only watch, as It devoured everything I have worked upon. My hopes, My dream, Relationship, and our work for the past years... Its not here anymore. My heart sank as I am faced with a faceless terror. It took out a vanguard with ease, what can a defender like me do? I know this is a fight I cannot win.
I feel as if my lungs is compressed, my limbs are numb, and my mind fading. At that moment all I can think off is to run away, and the only exit out of this hell is trough “It” or to jump into a depthless drop to the core behind. It’s an option between death and a fate worse than death. In my panic I was interrupted by...
Pain. Pain gushed into one of my calf with not even a moment of notice.
Taking advantage of my shock, one of “It” has bitten me in the leg. The next moment I find my shield connecting to the creature's body – as result of muscle memory – and backed up to the edge of the level as the creature flew back, stunned.
The darkness. It is closing in on me. I am trapped.
My eyes scrambled across the room, looking for help, shelter, anything for safety. But all I see is pitch black darkness... And a gigantic magenta eye, gazing trough my soul.
"This is it... The end of the line."
I rested my body on the railings build around the level's edge.
"I don’t want to be one of them..."
Then I inhaled a lot of air
"There is no escape anyway"
With tears flowing out of my eye, and a growing numbness on my leg, I jumped to the core
This is fine.
After what seems like forever, I blacked out.

STAGE 1 : The Boundless Field
A defender jolted back to life.
His armour is burning with overflowing energy, it’s like being revived a hundred times in the same time.
He blinked, not bothering to even stand up. For almost an hour, he laid there, pinching his cheek from time to time.
The knight looked down upon his calf, the one which the formless wolver bit. Yet, it has no wounds nor does it hurt or discomforting in any way.
“I ... Where am I?”
His arm reached to check all his equipment. Upon his back, a grand tortofist and grand tortoshield – A trophy of his hunt –lays overcharged just like his kat eye raiment and moonrose chapeau. On his belt, two ultra health capsule. On his holster, a winter grave.
“Nothing is lost... “
For another minute, his eye is glued to the artificial night sky, and his back on a soft patch of grass.
With confusion upon his emerald eyes, he took a step forward and gets up . That’s when the defender heard a loud scorching noise upon the sky.
The knight saw a meteorite... And an explosion upon the level above.
Trough the gaps and cracks of clockwork, hundreds of meteorite soars trough deep to the depth of the planet. Gigantic gears and machinery got struck by the meteorite. Some even managed to land near the clueless knight.
He activated his shield to block the incoming space rocks. A direct hit will almost immediately shatter trough the shield’s barrier, but it will be enough to withstand the impact.
Pieces from crashed meteors and shrapnel hit the barrier over and over again. His shield has gotten many blows from all sort of sources, but never once was it something as bizarre as this, and as a defender, that is saying a lot.
His shield is in the red, and lucky for the knight, the last sound of explosion ended.
A sight of relieve is heard.
But the world isn’t going to let him rest just yet. From the fallen meteors, lichens oozes out, making colonies and quickly surrounding the knight.
“Give me a break!”
His arm reaches for the winter grave, but a colony already noticed his present. The slime is already charging up a thorn attack when the defender has only taken aim.
A bullet left the grave chamber, and so does a thorn flew from a colony's body.
The projectiles grazed against each other as the knight rises his shield. The thorn broke the already red shield of the knight, while the bullet managed too leave a glaring hole on the lichens body. But the problem is, the other lichens are already moving in closer.
