I have played numerous MMORPG, which are just the same thing over and over, i have played Spiral Knights and its combat system is a very nice twist.
However as i am currently enjoying it, it is lacking majorly in some required area's that all MMORPG Require.
Pvp
Pvp is an essential in my opinion as it keeps the game alive and allows people who have completed the game something to do, while a reward system should be included within this. For Example Win a game get 10 pvp tokens, swap 10 pvp tokens for a special pvp sword. This simply just increase's the amount of Arsenal withing a game nicely. There are other things i could mention about pvp but just the bare essentials would be nice for now.
Guild/Guild Halls
There should be guild wars for one similar to the PVP, and the guilds need to more in depth there is nothing really to them at the moment other than a name. While Guild Halls should offer a guild bank at least and various shops and merchants if the guild master wishes to purchase them with CE - This is also encourages more CE to be bought from you.
MORE LEVELS!
I like the way the levels work but they are limited, and they are very unbalanced as there is a massive divide in the difficulty from Tier 1 - 2 and same goes for 2 - 3. There needs to be a more gradual build up in difficulty in the tiers. While incorporate more towns and checkpost that people can stay at and visit with this.
More Weapons, Armour ect
Pretty simple just increase the amount of items you offer as it is VERY limited at the moment and make them more customizable, rather than just being able to get unique variants through crafting, sell it the upgrades for weapons and so on through your store for CE again.
Your CE Store
I do not have an issue with how your game makes money lots of games do it this way, however incorporate idea's from succesful Games like Perfect World, and sell your CE but offer more to buy with the CE Such as weapons, pets, mounts (possibly not really required at this stage in the game), Fashion sounds [odd] but it proved unbelievably popular with Perfect World players, who were buying fashion clothes and armour in the mass.
Please feel free to leave any comments you may have.
1. PvP is in the works; it's mentioned in General.
2. There are like nine hundred threads on Guild improvements; as of this writing, there are actually two on the front page.
3. It's amazing how quickly you adjust to the difficulty spikes, seriously. I remember when Tier 2 seemed like a pitiless realm of godless horror, venturing in with my bare-minimum 2* gear and promptly getting a ferocious kicking; it's an incentive to level up your gear, basically. A more gradual progression has the potential to rob the upgrade process of a measure of urgency - you'd be crafting better equipment whenever you got around to it, rather than the current feeling of "holy hell I need some better armour now or I am going to die." Meanwhile, as you save up for this essential new kit, you suddenly find that you're doing better generally, dying less, making more money, because you've been thrown in at the deep end and forced to up your game. Trust me, it levels out nicely.
4. NO NO NO. The game itself is essentially a CE sink already.
