Hey, Aaronixio here. As someone who's played through the game entirely on Elite difficulty, I thought it might be cool to give better mission rewards based on the difficulty you played. It's very annoying how you have to, and I know a lot of people complain about this, pay lots of money in order to complete the game. Either that or you spend hours, no, days farming just to gather enough orbs (or fire crystals in some cases) to get 5* gear to do the Hall of Heroes mission. So, here's my idea. Playing on Advanced (Medium? Not sure, not many people use the middle difficulty) or Elite should yield better mission rewards. Maybe like 3 orbs on elite when you'd normally obtain one on normal. Even with that you'd still not be able to get a full set of 5* gear and you'd have to farm for a while, but for a way shorter time than you would've had to before. Of course, most rewards would have to stay the same, like weapons, recipes, evo catalysts, basically stuff that you only need one of. If you happened to play through the game on normal, maybe you could go back and get the items you missed out on? Also, Elite barely seems different than Normal, maybe it needs to have a major increase to enemy damage output and health, and maybe better AI, being the hardest difficulty and all. But that's just my opinion.
EDIT: I improved the part in which I mentioned a harder elite mode, also I just realized you don't even get an Elite Orb for beating the Roarmulus twins, so you only get 2 before the 4* Hall of Heroes mission, which is really dumb in my opinion. I mean, come on, you just fought a boss, you deserve an elite orb.
At the end there you mention how elite isn't much harder than normal, yes request for mission rewards be upwards of 3 times more rewarding. Honestly, I'm more of the opinion rarities should be normalized around the current elite rates with slight deviations (4% less on normal, current elite rewards on advanced, 4% more on elite) than this thing where you get a lot of rarities on elite and hardly any on normal.
Elite being more difficult (having enemies with enhanced AI especially) would make it a more meaningful choice anyways. I agree with that.
I don't really agree with mission rewards being enhanced depending on difficulty. More rarities on lower difficulties would be better than making elite allow players to skip through the game at rapid speeds - that's what paying money for energy is for.
