Wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I'm playing via Steam and have no issues on any other stage/level of the game. Once I get to the Grasping Plateau, it loads up to around 90% and then the entire window crashes and closes. Even if I relaunch Steam, it crashes again.

I think it is with steam. I don't use steam on my main account. But some of my friends do and they have crashing problems. And the OP plays on steam. I think it's on steam.
I'm starting to think the game crashing from Grasping Plateau is supposed to be intentional for 4th wall-breaking purposes. I have experimented with graphics driver settings and in-game settings to run Spiral Knights on the lowest options possible, and this stage is still guaranteed to crash my client.
