Hi people, i was looking at some of the materials, and reading their tooltips and descriptions, and some of them, like Rock Salt and Warpdust, and
started to think about it.

So, here i am, asking you guys what you think they might eat? Come on! Use our imagination!

How many of you people follow the ten-second rule?

Natch.

I am fairly certain that knights in general are neither too picky nor too wise about what they eat and will attempt to eat. Perhaps nothing is too daunting when there is both appetite and science to satisfy.

However, the fact that punkin pies have the following warning is rather curious:

"A hot steamy pie made from real gourdlings! Not suitable for Knight consumption, please discard at nearest friend."

Were gourdlings used as livestock despite being possibly inedible? Are they actually edible but were prepared and baked without any regard for consumption to meet a deadline for mass production? Who was it that actually baked the pies?

Who made what?

I imagine Head Chef Biscotti made those pies.

This wiki page has some interesting links for attempting to answer questions related to "what is a knight".

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a fan of kebabs (forbidden fruit + blaze peppers on a royal skewer) with a nice glass of chroma tears on the side. I try and warn others to stay away from those fiendish mugs of misery and spoiled treats.

Well, there's that one rather morbid fanart of some dude roasting a Devilite over a campfire with a BTB.
Personally I'd stay away from such options. Can't be good for the ol digestive tract.

Curiously enough, the Rise of Knights mobile game portrayed Knights as having mouths, while SK does not.

Also, this brings up a thought: what kinds of foods do wolvers and gremlins eat? Does Cradle have any native edible plant life? Are there "livestock" type animals like cows, space manatees, etc that Gremlins use for a meat supply? those teeth aint made for berries.

The Venom Veiler tooltip.

That was good thinking. Let's look at the tooltip of the 5-star ranked poison bomb, the Venom Veiler, that saw in the wiki.

"The ultimate in toxic dispersal devices, the Venom Veiler can be used to destroy pests on crops. Failing that, it can also be used to destroy crops. — Tooltip"

So, yes, i think knights might grow crops of some kind.

Wolver must be carnivores because of their nature of persuing their prey, like any normal predator.

Now, for Gremlins that is really a mistery. You made a Good Point.

Groat loves to put moonstone on everything (not to be confused with Biscotti's dark matter addiction).

Judging by the cages found in compounds, I'd venture to guess that bunnies are the livestock of choice for gremlins.
