Well, to be fair it isn't "their" game necesarially. Last I checked GH just bought the game from Three Rings to prevent it from shutting down forever- which a lot of dedicated players adore them for. Granted, new content like levels, weapons, etc would be nice, but a lot of us are fine with how things are as long as the game doesn't shut down.

The game is fine as it is
I'd rather have it stay like it is than make it worse with some bad new content, like the introduction of Pulsars made it worse, for example.
Also, people wanted new content, but when they got Compounds they complained about it. (I have nothing against Compounds, but I notice a lot of people returning to haven or waiting for the level to change, when a compound is up next.)
So better not add new things. Maybe just make existing things better, like filters in Party Finder or a 5th random gate in the Missions->Arcade tab.
