One thing that was very annoying for me was that if you wanted to craft anything other than the recipes given to you, you would have to go out grind really hard. If you follow the game's recipe path line of cobalt armor and leviathan blade. They ultimately set you up for failure once you hit tier 3. Your damage becomes abysmal. You could quickly get through 3* and 4* certifications only be very weak in tier 3. Which is exactly what happened to me. The way the game's missions are set up does not encourage you to explore different weapons and armor.
Sure at Jelly King missions you only really have to grind 3 advanced orbs. But if you want to get different armor and weapons you have to grind around 26kcr for everything. However, if you go the generic cobalt line you get to do anything you want with that 26kcr. A lot of players opt for cobalt armor because they don't want to grind, and they are really missing out on some of the really fun and cool weapons and armor in this game.
A Fix for Progression and Experimentation
Which gives me an idea. Every Mission that is on the same page as the Hall of Heroes mission will net you a Recipe Coupon with the star level of wherever you are in the game. Snarbolax giving 2* recipe vouchers, Jelly king 3* recipe vouchers, RT 4* recipe vouchers and rotting metropolis missions and Vanaduke give 5* recipe vouchers. You get these vouchers on first completion and they can be used to by any recipe of the same * level for free. Furthermore, these vouchers can be bought with the respective Boss Token currency. You can get one voucher for every 10 tokens. So by the time you are finished grinding your orbs, you wont have to grind crowns for buying the recipe. You can also find recipe vouchers of their respective star level in crates at the same drop rate as orbs.
The Scarcity of Orbs
As for the randomness of orbs, that is a very easy fix. I've seen people get all the orbs they need in a couple of hours and other people take days. Obviously, a progression system based on the luck is very flawed. So the easy solution is to add guaranteed drop sources for orbs. Which brings me to danger missions. Danger missions have virtually no rewards for completing them and as such no one really does them because of their difficulty. I think it would be nice if danger missions would reward you with 2 orbs of your choice upon completion. You cannot choose orbs higher than your rank. This would easily fix the orb problem because now you only have to grind out 1 orb. if you have to skills to complete the difficult danger missions. You can only do these missions once per day so its not overpowered at all. This combined with the recipe vouchers would allow you to craft gear for free, if you're willing to put in the effort.
Quality of Life
This probably won't be added but I would really like to have an official drop rate for rarities from green and red crates. I've calculated it with math to be a 0.5% chance for an orb on elite per crate, but there have been many rumors circulating about how orb drop rates are affected. Would be nice to know the official drop rates of everything in this game.
