Some balances for weapons that fail at their job.
Swords
Wild Hunting Blade Line
When compared to its counterpart Dread Venom Striker. WHB does not have much going for it. The old benefit it has over DVS is the flinching on its charge attack, allowing for easy combos. However, a good DVS user does not need this. Thanks to the weapon's poison, it can easily outdamage WHB and be more useful against gremlins.
Troika Line
This weapon line is supposed to be the heaviest swords in the game. They are meant to feel powerful. However, sealed sword directly outclasses them. Allowing them to stun more often and increasing the charge damage should give them more use.
Amputator Line
Like WHB Amputator has nothing going for it except the flinch on its charge bursts. Amputator could be seen as a medical weapon. It should have an anesthetic effect. Buff it's damage a little bit too.
Winmillion Line
I believe the charge attack bullet's small hitbox is a bug. However, the projectile sucking in enemies fits in with the theme of wind. It'll be like a mini-vortex.
Guns
Tortofist Line
The problem with tortoguns is that the shards rarely hit more than once. If they're meant to be multi-hitting they need a way to accomplish that. Shock status will prevent enemy knockback and allow for multi-hits.
Antigua Line
Antigua's bullets are fast. However, the 5 bullets before the bird have nothing going for them. If they had a little bit of piercing, it could set up for the bird finisher.
That's all the ideas I have for now. Would love to see these weapons improved!
I wish that all cutters were split normal/piercing damage, this means higher overall damage making them the thing they're supposed to be which is a high-risk/high-reward weapon it'd have the highest DPS out of all weapons if that happened because if you didn't know split damage weapons get overall more damage than their pure damage counterparts. This is a really safe and easy buff for this interesting weapon.
For the troika line to compete with sealed swords I think the best buff would be to make status roll on the first AND the second hit rather than only the second hit making them good for CC while sealed swords still being better for damage AND faster. Outside from that the charge should also be buffed because it hits a smaller area than sealed swords yet does less damage.
Amputator looks like it should do split normal/piercing but it doesn't match its bonus against slimes at all, honestly it's a good design but bad implantation, why would you ever craft that thing when we have acherons and obsidian edges, even the status brandishes perform better against slimes. IMO it should have split normal/piercing and have its bonus removed making it a piercing Acheron.
Winmillion's future 5* should have a vortex charge I'm all up for that. I also wish it could be pure shadow damage so we can have a pure shadow sword.
Tortofists are already powerful and fun but I think that you're right they still need a bit more, reduced damage on charge but stun on impact and shock on contanct would be really fun CC to play with.
I actually never thought of a buff for antiguas and I never really thought it would be nessesary, but now I realized that I never used their charge outside of sniping turrets like 10% faster than usual, this is a fair and interesting buff IMO.
