Hello, I'm Whale, a GM of Ability!

Overview of Ability
Ability is a friendly PvP guild. Most of our members are veterans, each with their own unique personalities. Many of us migrated from Enrage: a small, tight-knit guild that had a family-like atmosphere. Now that many members have gone inactive, we'd like to expand our family. Joining Ability is not difficult. Ironically, we don't care about your ability to perform in Lockdown; all we require is a friendly and lax attitude.

What do we do?
Our goal is to bring new people into Lockdown — the PvP aspect of the game. While we do run Clockworks sometimes, we are primarily a PvP oriented guild. We do the occasional FSC (Firestorm Citadel), but most of us are already geared to a satisfactory point. Sometimes we do challenge runs (something like Shadowfire Vanaduke with only Dark Retribution and 200 sparks) just for the fun of it. On the topic of Lockdown, some of us play on a daily basis while others play when on break. We typically use VC (Voice Chat) when playing. It makes the experience more fun and we can have off topic conversations while we're at it. We welcome players interested in Lockdown, whether they are new and getting into it, who tried it but didn't like it, or those already invested in the gamemode.

Voice Chat
VC is hilarious. Most of our memes go down in here. In here, Trow busts out the freestyle raps, Silent talks about how spot on his Christmas Cake is when we're supposed to be commentating on Omen, Paw's voice tells the story of how he smoked in a no smoking zone, and Gear gets yelled at for being Gear. Feel free to join in! We welcome anyone who wishes to join in on these VC-exclusive conversations. You'll find us in the Ability discord (link in the MotD) and if you wish to start a VC, notify us via guild chat or DMs!

What is our role in the guildpact?
As we are in charge of getting people into Lockdown, we plan to make entry more entertaining. One thing that demotivates new players in Lockdown is the high entry requirement. As there are few new players in Lockdown, most players are well geared and experienced veterans. Playing against them can be tough and demoralizing, as it seems like everyone is on another level. We plan to host newbie events like "newbie tournaments" and "newbie matches". By giving new players an encouraging and lively atmosphere, we hope to help create the next generation of Lockdown players.
