So I've been using shard bombs and chaining them together I must say is quite fun. Of course, the elemental and normal shards don't have status variants, so I was discussing with some other players and we came up with an elemental/freeze shards and a normal/poison shards. Freeze and poison both compliment the playstyle of shard bombs, as they are focused on chaining enemies into explosion after explosion after explosion. Freeze keeps enemies in place, making the next explosion easy to line up, and poison makes subsequent hits stronger.
So, without further ado:
3* Slush Shards
"A shard bomb formed from a small explosive encased in a rimy compound extracted from the spikes of ice jellies. It's effective at frosting and fracturing mechanical plates."
Upgrades from Crystal Bomb.
Decreased damage compared to Super Crystal Bomb, but has Damage Bonus vs Constructs: Very High.
4* Chilling Slush Shards
"A solid chunk of slime rime with an explosive surprise inside. Constructs hate surprises."
Upgrades from Slush Shards.
Gains Fair chance of causing Moderate Freeze.
5* Subzero Slush Shards
"A large chunk of slime rime primed with a potent explosive. Ice particles float down after it explodes, causing any unfortunate victims to look like a diorama inside a snow globe."
Upgrades from Chilling Slush Shards.
3* Septic Shards
"An explosive encased with crystals made from hazardous materials. It's certainly one way to put toxic waste to use."
Upgrades from Shard Bomb.
I don't really know how one would fit a family damage bonus on this.
4* Nuclear Septic Shards
"A solid chunk of toxic crystal with an explosive surprise inside. Everybody hates surprises."

Gains Fair chance of causing Moderate Poison.
5* Sinister Septic Shards
"A large chunk of toxic crystal primed with a potent explosive. Safety guidelines suggest washing your hands after handling and especially before eating."
