Shroud of the Apocrea is the next event rolling around and I wanted to share some of my ideas to make it better.
Arcade Scenarios
Apocrea could have some new scenarios in the Arcade. Rooms could consist of new danger rooms in tunnels. Special scenarios in Graveyard and descending into a random depth would give you a chance to end up at the grasping plateau. These arcade scenarios will consist of scarabs, zombies, and other enemies attacking you as you defend a group of souls from being stolen. Defeating all the enemies will free the souls and you'll be rewarded with sigils and rarely materials.
New Danger Mission
This mission will be comprised of 3 depths. The first 2 depths are clockwork tunnels followed by a graveyard. However, they'll have rooms unique them. Featuring scarabs and wandering lost souls. Freeing these souls will result in Sigils. The 3rd depth is a confrontation with the Harvester. You'll have to fight him and defeat him while bomber are trying to swarm you. Avoid his tentacles and kill him to win. The harvester will burst into many Souls upon death. Free them as fast as possible to reap sigils. You'll get more Souls the higher the difficulty. The harvester will also have a rare chance of dropping a new weapon: Tenacious Tentacles.
Tenacious Tentacles
TT is a new bomb introduced with this update. When detonated 5 tentacles sprout out of the ground in a pentagon shape and grab nearby enemies. Dealing damage over time and preventing movement. It has a long charge time and does normal damage.
Harvester Armor Set
2 new pieces of armor also introduced with this update. Hood of the Harvester, and Cloak of the Harvester. These grant split Normal and Shadow Defense. This set is unique, in that the status resists are so high, it gives immunity to all sources of them. Wearers of this set will have Freeze and Poison Immunity. They are also granted with universal damage bonus low per piece.
This set is upgraded from the 4 star Skelly armor set. Requires the same amount ot materials as the weapons to make.
This idea sounds really nice and I like it.
I think the harvester set would need to be something like +6 resist per piece (as opposed from +4) with a set bonus for the immunity. That would prevent cheese from black kat/chaos users.
