There'd be no way you could send me the Server code, right?

I understand the absurdity of that, and I'd never use it for any malice purpose. The only reason why I wish to have it, is so that I have insurance, so that I'll know I can always play this game, whether the main servers die off eventually or not. It's not that I don't trust you guys to not keep this from dying off, but come on, what MMO lasts forever? And if in the 1,000,000/1 chance that you ACTUALLY would be willing to give me the server code, would you also be able to explain to me in detail how I would get a private server running where I'd be able to play LAN with my friends?

PS: I do have some experience with servers and how to run them and such, so you wouldn't be talking with a complete idiot :)

PPS: Again, I know that you don't just give out the server code to people, but I honestly wouldn't even really use it (aside from testing to see if it works) until Spiral Knights dies.

Edit: I really would be willing to spend money on the server code, up to $45, also, I know a random guys' word isn't worth much, but I DO promise not to redistribute the server code to anyone. I ONLY want to use it, so that I can have that secure feeling that I will ALWAYS be able to play this game, because, the way I have always played Spiral Knights, is, every 8 months or so, I get in the mood, play 2 weeks worth, leave the game for another 8 months, I know it's a really weird way to play it, but I really do get A LOT of enjoyment out of the game that way, but I realize that I may never get to where I want to be that way, if the game dies before I can reach that point. I know every employee there will probably be trained to disregard this message, but I plead that you at least think of it before doing that, I've been on a customer support team, I know how callus employees can be to messages. I know it's a one-in-a-million shot, but I thought I'd try.
